I just moved to belmont county in july 2024 and omgod by far my favorite pizza EVER. Although my favorite DiCarlo's is the St. Clairsville location, we love it so much that the St. Clairsville employee ( i believe he's the manager) knows us as soon as we walk in.
First time trying this kind of pizza, basically tomato pie served in squares with added toppings. We chose cheese and sausage. It was OK. Don't think we'd return. We were just passing through town, and this was close to our hotel. It was fairly busy, though....so I think it is a popular place.
Great pizza!!!
Unique style of pizza I believe to be a regional thing. This was law ya this pizza we would get for birthday parties and little family functions growing up. I love the texture of their crust, and their sauce is delicious. I always try to get some Decarlos when I make it back to the valley to visit family and friends. They are a little bit more pricey as far as you would expect pizza to go. But definitely worth it to get from time to time.
Big and tasty. I recommend it.???

I missed the best pizza shop EVER when it left Pittsburgh!!! I was on vacation in West Virginia and saw it advertised. I bought eight slices so I could freeze some to have later. I wish that I bought more. The pizza was exactly how I remembered it.

The pizza was excellent. There was 1 guy working by himself and did a great job. Thin crunchy crust. The Sauce has a great taste and they didnt smother it . Cheese and peperoni were not cooked like it should be. Its a style of pizza thats unique and not for everyone. We will definitely go back.

I finally tried Ohio Valley style pizza where they bake the cheese and crust first then they put the cheese and toppings on after. The service was great. I think they were in the middle of organizing part of the restaurant. The pizza was fresh and delicious. I just have to get use to this style of pizza. Their are very reasonable plus I like how you can order by the slice.

No one will answer the phones, they might be out of business ?
OK so Dicarlo's does pizza unlike any I've ever had. They bake the dough with the sauce on it then add the toppings and serve. Imagine no greasy pepperoni pizza. Cheese every topping added right from the fridge .

Not a fan of that style pizza, but the subs are made on a crust type dough instead of a bun, and they are spectacular. Pizza is made by putting cheese and toppings on a cooked pie with just sauce. No more baking, unless you request it. Not my thing but famous in the Valley and very beloved. Not a place to sit and eat, but quick pickup service.

If they were able to answer their phone or keep their phone bill paid my review would be different.
