“5* for atmosphere, & ditto for service , the owner is super sweet!! it's across from a field & lovely old farm house. Busy road side stand (traffic wise) the 1st time we went no chocolate ice cream. Now what dairy stand doesn't have chocolate ice cream?? Maybe next time.”

“I highly recommend Rocky’s Whistlestop pizza. Not only is the food quality always great but they are able to accommodate large orders. We recently ordered 13pizzas from the Whistlestop for a youth event. The pizzas were all well prepared and were delivered to our event. You don’t have to worry about food for an event, if Whistlestop is your food vendor. They will have it all there and the food will be perfect.”

“Coaches is a Sports Bar. Quite a few big screens, football games to view alongside friendly patrons. We met up with a friend, so we're more interested in conversation, but Coaches provided an excellent respite in Salem.
The service was prompt, attentive and friendly. We just had soft drinks and appetizers. The BBQ pork nachos were dinner plate size and excellent. There were perhaps too many jalapenos and black olives for my taste, but these did not detract from the overall quality. My husband ordered the nachos and was pleased. My friend had fried onion straws that were quite nice.
I want to return to try other menu items.”
