Clean and well stocked
I don’t leave reviews for grocery stores, especially a big chain like Kroger, but I could not have been more impressed with the employees that we spoke to yesterday. I took my kids grocery shopping here yesterday. As I was buckling them in getting ready to leave my son tells me he lost his gold plated little Pokemon card he had just gotten. Based on the reviews, Kroger has both positive and negative aspects. The employees are often described as wonderful, with outstanding customer service and overall kindness. One employee, a younger girl stocking by the deli meat area, stopped what she was doing to help a customer look for a lost Pokemon card. The manager Michelle goes above and beyond to help, and all associates are very positive. The store is always clean with excellent selections, including vegan, gf, Asian, and Hispanic options. The produce selection is top notch for the area, and the late hours are beneficial. However, the store has problems. Handicap parking is always a problem, and finding any parking spot is usually difficult. The registers, both self checkout and staffed, are always backed up, making checkout a nightmare. Also, it is slightly difficult to find some things, as fruits and vegetables of a specific kind are not together, and items often used together, like avocados and guacamole mix, are not located together.
