Placed an order online for three subs and paid for extra sauce. When we opened the subs there was hardly any sauce at all and the subs were cold. Had to call back and insist on coming back to get sauce for the subs. Not even close to the level of quality or customer service as the location we'd been to earlier in the day for the exact same order.

Every time I come into this place, the staff is super behind on orders and I have to wait a long amount of time for a sandwich. Every. Single. Time. Even with the new management they’re claiming to have, the same thing is happening. Most recently, there were four people working in the back (more than usual) and the wait was still ridiculously long. I really don’t know why this place is so popular.
I initially was going to hold off on posting this, but this needs to be known for any potential customers. I kept giving Dave’s chances because the vibe and atmosphere are better than most other sandwich shops nearby, but it’s getting old at this point and it doesn’t look like it’s changing anytime soon. They’re making sandwiches, it’s not a five-star restaurant. I cannot understand what is always taking them so long.
To add onto this, they’re supposed to be selling french fries now. Mind you, this is being advertised in the restaurant. I come to the register, and I’m told that they’re not actually being sold yet and the ads are just being posted “early”. Needless to say…they’ve officially lost a customer. Proceed with caution if you decide to come here.

I told them the sauce was too spicy for my son and asked was it possible to get a sub remade without the sauce. They told me that is wasn't spicy and maybe it was the pepperoni. I told them it was the sauce they said maybe it's the oregano. Then after they remade it but again told me that they never heard that the sauce was spicy before..

Went to the Toledo location. Waited for about 40-50 minutes and watched people come in after me and get their subs. So I went and asked if they were working on it and they apparently lost the order. Another gentleman ended up asking too and they lost his order as well. Let alone they gave me a regular when I paid for a large sub. Very disappointed with their service and honestly don’t believe I’ll ever be back.

Ate at the Toledo location today. Outstanding subs and service. I had the Crazy Dave and my wife had the Peace Steak. Everything Was super fresh. The location was spotless as well. We will be back... soon!

Sandwiches are on the pricy side but in my opinion it is worth the cost. They give you your moneys worth with high quality subs that taste fantastic. Gluten free bread isn't great though, I would recommend the italian or wheat.
Parking: Front street is a great spot for parking and buying stuff.

I went into Dave’s Cosmic Subs in Berea for dinner on a Sunday evening. There was only one staff member working which would have been fine had my sub not been very disappointing. I got the turkey club. The bread was so soggy and overloaded with the Dave’s sauce, the lettuce was completely wilted and some of it was browned, then the meat and cheese was just sat right on top of the sandwich and came off when I open the sub wrapper to eat it. It will probably be awhile before I come back to Dave’s Cosmic subs. These subs have always been so good in the past. I was so looking forward to this sub for dinner and it was so disappointing that my husband is going out to get us both something else for dinner. I couldn’t even finish half of my sub honestly a big waste of money.

their subs might be good but i have no way of knowing. three times now i have tried driving up to get food during their normal business hours only to find a dark empty shop. never trust a hippie.
updating review 7/20 shop open under new ownership. sandwiches were delicious and guy behind the counter was pleasant.
