We also tried the sweet potato and they gave me a sample of the chili which were both very good. I’m super excited to try the other sides in the future. The employees all exuded a good energy and made you feel welcomed which doesn’t always happen when you are out to eat. Overall it was a 10/10 experience!!“

“A small group of us were visiting the area to see family and we came in here on a Friday evening for just drinks before having dinner elsewhere. The first person we saw greeted us with a smile, we think it was Mike. They were totally packed and it was only 5PM! But he and the bartender who took care of us let us take the last 2 seats at the bar while two of us stood nearby. They have lots of great cocktails and beer to choose from, as well as the typicals beverages. They have an amazingly appetizing menu too! Watching the food come out made us wish we were having dinner there as the food looked and smelled amazing!

Overall, the service was excellent and so were the prices. They treated us like family and were very engaging and friendly. Highly recommend stopping in here!!“

The floral arrangements, which they did in-house, were absolutely gorgeous and added such a beautiful touch to the space. “Stopped by after trying the Roaming Biscuit across the street, and got to enjoy some time eat said food and sip on some nice iced drinks on a warm Sunday morning in Ohio City.

The espresso machine (a little beauty for espresso machine afficionados?) was down for repairs, but my wife and I pivoted easily to an iced coffee for her and an iced cold brew for me. Both were flavorful and strong, and the rest of the drink options were very intriguing for a future visit if we get in the area again. The interior itself has great and comfortable vibes, and you definitely get the feeling this a little gem for the area community. And the staff was friendly and talkative, so it had basically everything you'd want in a good coffee shop.“

“Found this place when I searched for best places to eat in Cleveland while we were on vacation and this one had good reviews and realistic prices so we decided to try it out and we are so glad we did! It was a warm and inviting atmosphere for being mostly a bar with extra seating. You felt like you were at home and all the staff treated you like you were family or a good friend and they looked happy to be there even though it got a bit busy when we had gotten there. Service was excellent, food was delicious, my husband got the ribs and he was in love. I tried the bbq sauce as I'm really picky about bbq sauces and it was delicious! The skull shaped cornbread was so good. I had a turkey club sandwich with the chips and the French onion dip is a must have. “I'm from Northeast Ohio and live roughly 25 miles away from WRD. Here's my confession... I'm kinda an experienced bourbon snob but have never visited WRD. I'm writing this very positive review because for awhile I've enjoyed WRD's bourbons (particularly their single barrel), as well as their tequilas. For me, WRD single barrel bourbon, sipped as neat is a pleasure; it carries a smooth / calm profile with just a touch of burn at the end. I'll stack it against any Kentucky bourbon with the same age profile. I also think that it being double distilled makes a difference in taste, and having it sourced with organic ingredients is a great plus. Can't wait to make a pilgrimage to WMD and hopefully get a chance to meet the owners.“

He gave us the history of the restaurant, details on drinks and venue. Our food was served hot and with great presentation which was all prepared by an awesome chef! “These people are simply incredible! have been to the Flats location a few times in the last couple of weeks. Cockys is by far one of my favorite places to go on multiple occasions. My son loved going to grab a sandwich for lunch (the “Dirty” on an everything bagel is killer), and my friends enjoyed a night out down in the water. The atmosphere is unmatched. Not to mention the owners make it a point to go up and say hello to everybody in attendance. They make it intentional to go above and beyond, and I will continue to this place a prime location to visit, and the recommendations to join will never end.
