We went there based off reviews and a Tik Tok reviewers highly recommend. Went on a Tuesday, we went for Chicken paprikash. Well if you want a Meatball it is on Mondays and the paprikash, is also on certain days of the week Thursday through Sunday. It is on the menu but not on the online menu. They did find a meatball, thank you for that but had to settle for taco Tuesday, just ok. Tots were a little underdone and I am not a big fan of fresh cut fries. The cheese curds were very good. Modelo on draft, ice cold with a generic diet cola to wash it down. I highly recommend Coke or Pepsi. It was later 9pm glad they were open maybe another try if I get a craving on day specifics for the food I went there for we will see. There is alot of clutter hard to see some of the televisions but old fashioned bar, pub atmosphere.

Love it. Christina and Don are great and so friendly. The bartenders are conversational and friendly. They had a wonderful new Year's Eve party with a great DJ. The DJs name was Joe Westfall. He played great music. We played games and drank and had great food. It was a really good time. We try to go there at least once a week. It's highly recommended.

Good food, friendly service, cozy atmosphere.
We got the Spicy Chicken Sandwich and the Poutine with Pulled Pork. The Sandwich was really good. The cole slaw on it was a little sweeter than I would have liked, but still ate the whole thing. The cheese curds on the poutine were fried and I've never seen that combo done before. The gravy it came with was super rich and made the pork savory.
The service was great too Andy took great care of us and was wonderful.
The atmosphere was nice. They went all out decorating for Christmas. It looks like they host different events all the time. There is a stage, darts, pool table, jukebox, and tvs.

Food is great. Some of the bartenders are fantastic, others you have to ask repeatedly for over 45 minutes to cash out because they're too busy sitting down or smoking weed to tend bar, and yet others steal from you than impose a 20% gratuity! Owner is VERY rude and doesn't run the business very well at all. Constantly out of liquor (like ALL whiskey lmao), napkins, hand soap (GROSS)... you name it! I really love some of the friends I've made here so sad to have to give up on what used to be a favorite place. You may get yelled at for ordering food off the menu because the cook doesn't feel like making it. My money is much better spent elsewhere!

First time at the hydrant and will not go back. I ordered the fish and chips. Three small pieces of fish and a small amount of fries. That would be OK except the fish was way over cooked to the point that the coating was starting to blacken. Now the french fries were way under done. The bartender was pleasant. Too bad because I could have seen the wife and I having dinner there a couple of times a month.
