I am so disappointed I didn't know about this place sooner. I've lived in and around Berea most of my life and somehow drove past here at least a few times a month without ever noticing it. The owner personally greeted us when we came in, made sure we felt welcomed, our server was fantastic; attentive, accurate with our orders, and also funny, I appreciated that she picked up on the vibe of our table and played off some of our jokes with each other and made sure we never had an empty glass for long. The only reason I can't give a full five stars on the food category is that the clam chowder was, no offense, genuinely one of the worst soups I've ever had in my entire life, but the other soup (Chicken tort.) and all the appetizers I tried, as well as the patty melt I had as my main course were tasty enough to make up for the clam chowder. Reasonably priced beer on tap, diverse food menu with some real interesting options, friendly staff, and a convenient location. I absolutely intend to come back soon.

The food was delicious. We had the steak and perch dinners with perogies and they were cooked to perfection. The bourbon sauce that come on the steak makes the meal! ETA 2026- The yellow perch is an all time favorite. The French onion soup was outstanding. The bar can get a little loud the later you go, but there is a nook that you can sit in that is pretty quiet.

Wow! Where do I begin? I had the Pork Schnitzel and my other half had the Perch dinner and the portions were huge and the taste was out of the world! We came to the area from over an hour away and was looking for a quick place and we'll we can across this gem of a restaurant/bar! I would recommend this place to anyone and it will now be on my place to be away from home!
