Although I love Amish cooking, I found this Ukrainian restaurant to be a welcomed change of cuisine. I had the perogies, the grilled pork sausage, and the potato pancakes. I also got a piece of Honey Cake to go! Although I would have preferred the food to have been seasoned heavier than it was, it was of high quality both in preparation and presentation.

Fantastic quality Perogies. Plating was 5-star complete with microgreens. The salad ingredients was delightful. This will be our preferred place to eat in Berlin.

Good food, but they are closed all the time and often out of dishes.
5 or 6 times I've been burned by driving 20 minutes to get there for them to be closed during the brief time they are supposed to be open or for them to be out of what I drove the whole way there for.

I always love Ukraine food! It is so yummy! My mom said the cabbage rolls were better than the ones her Ukrainian grandma would make when she was a kid, and there was was food she hadn’t had since she was a kid at her grandparents house. The honey cake is absolutely amazing and delicious!

I stopped her on a whim while visiting the area and I am pleasantly surprised. The peirogis are the best I’ve had and better than anywhere in the Cleveland area. The sausage is an in house special blend that is amazing. The cabbage rolls were perfect, the macaroons were decadent, and the honey cake was INCREDIBLE! The chicken was marinated perfectly, the carrots were impeccable, the soloway sauce is an instant classic, and the list goes on. I have zero complaints. On top of that the aesthetics were pleasing and a vibe, the entire establishment was perfectly clean which is very important to me, and the workers and owners were friendly and kind and you can tel they run their establishment with honor and pride in their work. I am friends with several Ukrainians and they are always so welcoming and friendly and that is why I had confidence to walk in the door in the first place knowing I’d be greeted with smiling faces. I did get a little teary eyed looking at the merchandise that supports Ukraine thinking of the great people we have lost but it reinforced the integrity the owners of this establishment exhibit. A true 10/10 experience that is on par with a big city establishment! 🇺🇦 🇺🇦 🇺🇦 don’t walk, RUN to this restaurant today! This is the gold standard.

My wife is from Ukraine and this place always makes her feel at home. Also great food (I’m American) used to greasy food at restaurants. But this place has super great food. Don’t go to those fake “Amish” restaurants that aren’t even owned by real Amish. The food there is garbage all the tourists have been deceived into thinking it’s real Amish food. But it’s not. Got to soloway for some real good authentic food made by real Ukrainians.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this Ukrainian restaurant, and I have to say—it completely exceeded my expectations. Every dish we tried was excellent, but the borscht absolutely stole the show. It’s the kind of bowl that makes you pause after the first spoonful. Comforting and refined all at once, it easily outshines versions I’ve had at some of the top Ukrainian spots in NYC.
The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, but don’t let that fool you—the food presentation would be right at home in a much more upscale setting. Each plate arrived thoughtfully arranged, which added a sense of occasion to the meal without any pretension.
Prices were more than reasonable given the quality and care in each dish. For what we paid, the value was outstanding.
This place is truly an unexpected gem. Whether you're well-versed in Ukrainian cuisine or just looking for something new and delicious, it’s more than worth the visit.
