Sunny Slope Winery Reviews
No need to travel far to get food, wine, and live music.
Great place to visit. Love that they have a deli and food trucks. The selection of wines is awesome! Will definitely come back
It was my First time at Sunny Slope Winery since it has been remodeled into the winery and was not impressed with the customer service of our bartender. Sunny Slope Winery is a small, unassuming winery in Holmes County known for their sweet wines. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is laid back. Despite the casual setting, the wine quality is top-notch, with the elderberry wine being a house specialty that stands out. The winery also doubles as a deli and general store, offering delicious deli sandwiches like the stacked Italian and club pannini. Some customers have noted that staff conversations can sometimes overshadow customer interactions, but others have praised the excellent service, especially when staff go out of their way to accommodate orders. The venue is smaller, and for events like live music, it's advisable to arrive early for seating. The winery's transformation from an old gas station/convenience store adds to its charm, making it a unique stop for wine enthusiasts. Guests have also enjoyed the blueberry wine and wine slushies, making it worth a visit for those who appreciate sweet wines and great food.
