I called Scott out of the blue based on a light pollution map because I’m an amatuer astrophographer. I can’t even begin to tell ya how nice of a guy he was. He even gave me a tour of the winery @ 9:30 at night! Based on their generousity alone, I’ll be back and will prolly stay in a cabin. I totallyfelt safe and they were so accommodating. Thanks, again. My husband and I stopped while in the area and we absolutely LOVED everything about the winery. Friendly owners, amazing wine, beautiful scenery, and we loved greetings from Buzz :) We left with a case of wine and we are planning a trip over in the next week or so to stock up for our winter stash, (2.5 hours) and well worth the drive. So happy we stumbled upon this gem.

I went to French Ridge a few days ago, and it easily is now one of my favorite places in the entire state of Ohio. It's charming and full of history, and the owners are so knowledgeable and friendly – I could have talked with Scott for hours and never would have gotten bored. I can't wait to go back many more times. Also, the lemon wine is the best thing I've ever tasted, and it was made from 100 percent real lemons (not fake flavorings). Couldn't recommend enough.
