The food was tasty and the portion generous. I had a salad with grilled chicken. I asked for no onions and it was made like that.

I used to go to several City Barbecue locations when I lived south of Dayton. I live northeast of Cincinnati OH and this one is probably the closet to me.

One thing I miss is that during the Covid-19 with the government restrictions, many things changed and City Barbecue is more restrictive on their garnishes. ...

I really like the food at City BBQ and we've frequented multiple locations. They sent an email for a Holiday Tasting from 11-1 today as well as a gift card promotion. The tasting was very haphazard and wasn't set up until 1130. And the only samples were mashed potatoes and apple pie... no smoked turkey as was advertised. Also when I went to the cashier to purchase gift cards, I was told that that promotion was over. I spoke to the manager and had to show him the date...

Absolutely delicious and big portions. There were 6 of us and it was nearing closing time. The staff welcomed us and were very friendly. 2 of us had a salad with smoked chicken. The chicken was the most tender smoked chicken breast I have ever had. My grandson had pulled pork sandwich and it was perfect. Husband had smoked sausage sandwich and loved it.
