“We did the tour and ended in the speakeasy. Very enjoyable. Our guide Jeff was very knowledgeable and shared a number of stories about the building and the days of Prohibition. We ended up having lunch and the burgers were delicious as were the fries although we didn’t get very many. All in all it was a very nice experience“
“First time here and I wanted to try so many things.I had to get the fried chicken dark pieces. I wanted to try some southern foods so I got the collard greens and white cheddar grits. The chicken was served nearly room temp but tasted amazing! The collard greens were alright but that was my first time trying greens. The white cheddar grits were not what I was expecting. I personally would not get them again but I was glad.i tried everything.Next time I want to get the pulled pork sandwich or a salad. My friend got fries and they were delicious! I got a blackberry lemonade (?), so good! The atmosphere was cute. It's a small place, well at least what I saw. We sat up front and had a wonderful time.Parking: There's metered street parking and there's a parking lot a block away.“
“Not a fancy place, but the chicken is the best in town. Even all the extras were fantastic: mashed potatoes, gravy, cole slaw, rolls, etc. Great place for quick carry out, but also indoor seating available. Friendly staff. Free on-site parking.“
“One of my favorite bars in cincinnati!! Their cocktail menu doesn’t miss!!! Pictured is their spring 2023 menu and I ordered the ‘Table talks’ from it! I was fascinated by all the different ingredients for the drink. I’m a gin drinker so I naturally lean in that direction. I felt like this drink was either going to be a miss or an absolute favorite no one between. IT WAS AMAZING!! And come on the little milk jar glass, obsessed!! I still think about this drink sometimes and hope it makes it back onto the menu soon. If you can’t find a current drink menu, trust me there will be something you like when you go in! If not the bar staff is so nice and are so attentive to make sure you are served a drink you will love “
“We had a client seminar today in Rusty Bucket's private room for 20+ people. Servers and front desk staff were very professional and made the entire experience wonderful. Good food and atmosphere! We have had past seminars in their private room previously and Rusty Bucket has given us the same level of service each time.“
“Maybe I’ve missed talk about the mac & cheese but whoa that stuff is amazing. (And I’m picky about it cause I make great mac & cheese myself)Pulled pork & shredded brisket were both very tasty, (I’d like a little more fat with the brisket). Fries were absolute perfection. My dad was practically drinking the Carolina sauce & I love the white sauce.Four adults: a pound each of brisket & pork, with the family pack 2 sides option, with slider buns. Just the right amount of leftovers for tomorrow.Next time will definitely give the wings a go.“
“The food was much better than I expected. The service was meh. The waitress was fast because 1 of us had to get to the airport. But she would bring the food and drop it off. No conversation what so ever. She would just give it and not say anything. So she was very efficient, but she didn’t have a personality.Wheelchair accessibility: There is accessible parking right in front.“
“I ordered here through Doordash based on reviews and a coupon. I am so glad I did. I got the half rack of ribs, and when I tell you they were tender OMG. Fall off the bone. I'm super picky about ribs and these were next level. I also ordered a side of greens, Mac and cheese, cornbread, and fried plantains . Greens were pretty good. They were flavorful with a kick. I was not a fan of the Mac and cheese, although I really wanted to be. Cornbread was fine. Plantains we're good. Next time I will order the rib meal again with greens and plantains.“
“I'm an OTR trucker and take hometime in Cincy. Went to this Bob Evans with my girlfriend last time I was in town and has a great experience, went back and yet another great experience!Service is quick, friendly, and the food was fantastic as was the price! Real good price to value ratio. They're competitors have really back slid. Went to Cracker Barrel and had some of the saddest French Toast I'd ever seen. Its lie they used the heel pieces? Not here. Thick cut brioche. Honestly every bit as good as First Watch but they got Breakfast Lunch AND Dinner.Have many fond memories throughout childhood going to Bob Evans with my Parents and Grandparents and then my own kids. Bobs keeps this up they'll be around once I'm a grandparent. This location in particular though is absolutely consistent and my server Shemaca was a prime example of why Bob's is head and shoulders above all the options around this area. Got a Big Boy right across the street and a Waffle House not far.Y'all can keep that. Gimme Bob's ?“
“This place was the epitome of excellence.I had the breaded buffalo chicken sandwich. It. Was. KILLER. I could not stop eating it, even when I was full. There was not much of a wait at all, but that made it even better to top off the experience. I found the atmosphere to also be friendly. Dessert is a plus, with the strawberry cheesecake coming in clutch.A wonderful experience here. Hidden gem, if you ask me. Great, great time. Will 10/10 return when I am in the Cincinnati area.“
“I thought the menu could've used a few more fish options, but that's just me. I had the shrimp basket. It wasn't bad, I did eat it all. Person I was with got a mixed bag of seafood, potatoes, corn, and sausage. He didn't complain. Overall, not a bad experience.“
“Me and my wife ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger with fries on mine and my wife got onion rings instead. We had to wait for awhile and once our waitress came with our food, well my wife got her order and they made a mistake of giving me someone else's order. It was a Chicken sandwich and fries and I didn't realize it until my wife said that isn't your sandwich. But that's was about the time our waitress came back and told me that she made a mistake and that I could keep it or throw it away. I boxed it up and brought it back home with me for lunch tomorrow. ?“
“Vegetarian options: Offer some labeled vegetarian dishes, not a hotspot or destination for strict vegetarians but still has vegetarian options and staff willing to honestly answer questions/concerns and make minor/reasonable accommodations to modify a dish to be vegetarian.“
“All the negative reviews don't take into consideration that this place is a sweet little diner. They aren't supposed to be at their best when they're packed to the gills on a Saturday. Even brunch chains struggle with Cincy crowds, that's a staffing and a demand issue. This isn't waffle house, y'all.Sugar and spice is flawless. Good food, hardly any grease for a greasy spoon, everyone is friendly and the ambiance is wonderful. Come here on a weekday for lunch or breakfast and you will be more than satisfied.“
“I ordered breakfast. It was a biscuit topped with gravy, fried egg and cheese, and hash browns on the side. The tastes of the biscuit, gravy, egg, and cheese blended very well together. I thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Despite some of the hash browns being very slightly undercooked, they were good, too.“
