Best bagels in town, in my opinion. The egg and tuna salads are top notch, and I always grab a little white fish spread to take home.

The Bagels are great. The prices are a little over what they should be, but still pretty reasonable. A lot of options. Come here pretty often. I do plan to come back a lot more. #GoodVibes
Best bagels and shmear in Cincinnati. I was worried about the ownership change a couple years ago, but I shouldn't have because the new owners are doing a great job. My only "complaint" is they aren't open as early as they used to be, but that is totally understandable with the ownership change.

(Updated review, February 2024). Bagel much improved- down right tasty.(Bagel sandwich with Lox).Seems the interior has also been remodeled. wanted to love this place - the space and the decor were promising (kind of “old school” and quaint, like the owners have been in business a long time, which inspired confidence). But (and you knew a “but” was coming!) the “everything” bagel that was served was barely edible- hard, dry, etc. It also should have been called an “almost nothing” bagel because there wasn’t much on it (see photo).I wound up throwing the bagel in the trash and headed to Breugger’s down the street. This is the first time I’ve ever thrown out food - I don’t believe in waste. Also: The bagel from Marx was about $1.50 more expensive than the other bagel shop- for exact same order. They could have been having a bad day. I would have brought the bagel back in to flag the problem to a manager (for their own sake, the sake of their reputation), but with COVID, I decided against going back in.
