El Zarape is a neat little place that offers the best Spanish food south of Detroit. The host seated the customers immediately, and the attentive waiter provided excellent service. The menu features a variety of authentic Mexican dishes, including the Falcon Burrito, a delightful combination of shrimp, chicken, beef, chorizo, and pineapple with a light cheese sauce. The fajita burrito, with onions, peppers, steak or chicken, and sides, is also an excellent choice. The environment is bright, lively, and welcoming, and the food is prepared with fresh ingredients and served by a friendly staff. The Carnitas Dinner, Enchiladas Suizas, and other menu items are highly recommended, with the carnitas being tender and melting in the mouth, and the enchiladas being fork-tender and flavorful.
