Asher is a wonderful server here, very outgoing and polite. He sparked fun conversation, and had great customer service. And the food tastes fresh and you get a lot for the price. Phenomenal place!!

We’ve tried just about every sushi spot in Toledo and the surrounding areas, and Ninja Hibachi Sushi is hands down the best we’ve had so far. The sushi is incredibly fresh and honestly more cost effective than most places around here. This place is severely underrated.

If you’re only ordering hibachi from here, start getting the sushi too. My husband loves their hibachi, but as someone who regularly eats fresh sashimi and nigiri in larger food cities, I can confidently say the quality here is absolutely on par.

This review is based solely on takeout since we’ve never dined inside, but even from BG to Perrysburg, everything that’s supposed to be warm arrives warm, sometimes even HOT, and the sushi is always fresh. The packaging is insanely good and everything travels really well.

Also, the rice to filling ratio is ideal. Their rolls actually have a generous amount of filling with just a thin layer of rice instead of being overloaded with rice like so many other places.

Zero complaints from us. We’ll definitely keep ordering from here weekly.

Hibachi chef was excellent and lots of fun. He did miss read who had what and mixed some food on the wrong plates. Our server forgot a sushi roll that we ordered. Otherwise, very nice experience. We will definitely give them another chance.

Overall, terrible experience paid $25 for 4 ounces of steak. My appetizers were raw. Got two pieces of shrimp will not be coming back to ninja again.

We waited an hour before the hibachi chef came out to begin cooking. Unfortunately, the rice was burnt and hard, tasting like it had been completely dried out.
Additionally, the portions of meat distributed across the table were not equal or properly accounted for, which resulted in my husband and me receiving less food — my husband especially. We noticeably received less chicken than other guests at the table. The chef later realized that my husband had also ordered chicken and had not prepared enough for everyone, which led to an even longer wait time for our meals to be completed.
I’ve visited hibachi restaurants many times across the country, especially in Toledo, and expected a comparable experience. Unfortunately, this visit did not meet that standard. I do appreciate the kindness of the staff, but the portioning and food quality were disappointing. I will be choosing other locations in the future.

Edit: After checkout our waitress demanded a higher tip and pushed the check back to us. I will stick to my hibachi restaurants in toledo and perrysburg for the foreseeable future ❤️
