The food was bland and lacking in spice, which is a shame given how crisp and fresh and clearly made-in-house so much of it was. It feels like a lot of wasted potential, though I'm sure its regular patrons like that about the food (it seems to attract quite a few elderly folks).The service was incredible though- I don't think I've had service that good since before the pandemic. This place is a one of a kind experience! Great unique food and really delicious!! We had an appetizer of fresh green beans fried with caramelized onions and a wonderful sauce over it!! Fantastic! Our entrees were delicious, too, but I wish we had gotten more of that appetizer!!

After being at Sunset Bistro tonight, I realized that I don't get there enough. It truly is a gem in Bowling Green. I had the special tonight and let me just say, I never put my fork down. I loved every bite. Above and beyond is how I would characterize the entire staff and ownership. I highly recommend for quality of food, quality of service, and quality of atmosphere hands down.
