The carnitas tacos x3 were terrific. Juicy chopped pork with just the right amount of yummy fat and beautifully dressed. Lovely salsa verde on the side. Add a couple of Negra Modelo and it's a winner lunch or dinner.

We stopped here on a whim to kill some time. The bartender was absolutely amazing. She was so friendly and gave great suggestions. I had a lemon drop martini it was delicious. We had some appetizer dip and it was also great. I definitely recommend this place and will be back!!!

Seriously, get the BLT! You will NOT be disappointed! Plus the twister fries were friggin' awesome.Small place with TVs to watch the games. Good for a social atmosphere, but could get cramped quickly. I am visiting over the holidays so can't say how bad it would be when school is in session.Would absolutely go back, anyways. It's my hometown ^,^

If you are ever craving a taco, enchilada, burrito, or just chips and salsa, you must check out El Zarape. My friend and I found this place our freshman year at BGSU, and it has become a staple of our lives, especially when we get visitors because everyone needs to experience this place at least once. The staff is very friendly, and I have never once had to wait for a table. They recently upgraded their menu, so now they offer more than ever before! We were able to get fast refills on our drinks, and our main meal and dessert (highly recommend the churros) came out quickly. There's a nice environment inside as well. It is very bright and colorful, and it just makes you feel good being in there. I will definitely be returning (for many, many more visits). They also do pick-up, and the food is always fresh and warm.

Stopped in for a work lunch meeting and had one of the smothered steak burritos. This was an incredible choice and I will definitely return when I'm in the area again.

This was my spot in college. My friend and I were there once a week. After 10 years, we stopped in on the way to a weekend away, and it's changed a bit but was still the same place I left. The chips and salsa were still some of my favorites, and I enjoyed my vegetarian combo, which included a burrito, enchilada, and tostado, all of which were very good. My friend ended up canceling her order because it was taking longer than expected, and she wasn't feeling well. Our server was a young man. He was okay, nothing bad, just no real interaction. I think he was worn out with a party of 10 right before us. Our old favorite server has since become a manager, and that was great to see. It's still the mellow fun place we remembered.
