Sterling's Amish Deli in Bowling Green, OH offers excellent comfort food. The food is very good, and many call it a perfect restaurant. The Rodeo burger has juicy and flavorful patties with a magnificent crunch from onion rings. The BBQ chicken grilled cheese is delicious, and the French fries are moist and filling, reminiscent of fries from the local fair. The Italian sandwich is the best around. Hands down, the Ruben, tomato bisque, and chocolate cream pie are the best ever. The Wednesday special of beef noodles over mashed potatoes is amazing and like a home cooked meal. The beef & noodles and chicken tenders are family favorites. Service can be slow with only one person working, but the owner once refunded an order that was nine minutes late and delivered it himself, showing great customer service. However, the dining room is cold, and unsanitary conditions exist, with tables not wiped down and crumbs on the floor. It is sad the place is closing soon because the food is incredible.
