“Saturday afternoon and we sprung a party of 14 on them. They were quick to accommodate us. Plenty of food for the price. Breaded mushrooms were great. Burgers can only be prepared medium well. Our server took great care of us. Great find.Parking: On street in front. Gravel lot in the rear. Parking across the street as well.Kid-friendliness: It’s a local pub. Kids welcome but understand it’s a barWheelchair accessibility: Gravel lot with a paved handicapped space. Easy ramp to the entrance. Flat inside.“

“Mushroom swiss burger and shoestring fries, sweet tea with lemon was absolutely the best burger around. Perfectly well done and local beef cooked to perfection. Burger topped with mushrooms, onions and swiss cheese. Large portions with quick friendly service. Highly suggested you try the food here!!“

“Yesterday we visited this restaurant because we heard for the first day of spring. They were offering free ice cream cones. Who doesn't want a free ice cream cone? Well, what we didn't account for was that everyone else wanted a free ice cream cone. So we waited for a while in the drive-through and were told by the young man once we got up to the speaker that they were having computer problems and we may be more successful if we went inside. OK no problem. We went inside And found a very hard-working staff busting their tails to take care of everyone who was there, despite having issues with their computer system. After not very much waiting at all, considering how busy they were, we got some great milkshakes and blizzards and decided to pass on the free cones to allow them to move on to the next order. Just wanted to give them kudos and make sure they were recognized for doing a good job during a tumultuous time.“

“So needed someplace to go quick before a basketball tournament. There is not a lot of choices within this little area without driving a bit so we tried Handle Bar and Grill. Yes you can bring children in. It's a wonderful little local place and our food was amazing!!! We go to Hocking Hills alot so this will be a repeat visit if we get hungry. “Got the chicken sandwich. Which is now two small chicken strips on a small bun. Asked for no mayo. It was slathered in mayo. Fries were rock hard and old. Went back through. Had to wait in line. Other food got cold.Never had food that wasn't fresh there before.30 dollars for a 4 chicken strip. Fries. Sandwich. Ice cream. Bleh. Saddened by this experience when usually we drive 20 miles further to go to this location instead of the one 5 minutes from my homeThey also made the banana split about half the size it was before.“
