Making an edit here based on the owner’s response. I was NEVER told to call back to place a deposit. Again, I would have gladly paid the entire cost up front. I told Carlos I would let him know if I would pick this up or have a pick-up scheduled. This has nothing to do with the cake order itself. Once it’s ready, it doesn’t matter if I’m picking it up or sending someone to pick it up.

I ordered a tres leches cake for a very special birthday. I called this morning to confirm it would be ready, and Carlos informed me he hadn’t placed the order because I didn’t let him know if I was going to pick it up or have Door Dash pick it up. This has nothing to do with it. How I pick it up is irrelevant. He also told me they require a deposit. The time to tell me this would’ve been when I placed the order. I would have happily paid for the entire thing up front. Now, I don’t have the cake I ordered that was for someone very special.

Jossi did call me and offered an alternative, or to make the cake I ordered but with a pick-up time hours after when I need it. I didn’t want it rushed, and it didn’t fit into my schedule, so I declined.

We recently discovered Jossi's Bakery next to Cozumel Mexican Restaurant in Broadview Hts. The staff are friendly and enthusiastic about their baked goods, which are delicious. We love the banana, guava and mango rolls that were still warm when we picked them up. Be sure to pre-order to ensure they are available. There is a cute outdoor patio and tables and chairs indoors too. They also sell empanadas, potato pies, Greek and chicken turnovers, cakes, cupcakes and cookies, and everything is freshly made. There is also a variety of hot and cold beverages including lattes and teas. Highly recommend!

Our wedding cake was gorgeous, just what we asked for, and absolutely DELICIOUS. The sheet cake for our guests went FAST. We will be back here again for sure!

Delicious cakes, cup cakes, pastries among the variety you can find here. The guava roll is one of my favorites with a cup of fresh coffee. The empanadas are mouthwatering, beef empanadas is my preferred one. The cookies and meringues are wonderful. It is very nice to get there and try a new cupcake, cake or cookie. You won’t regret it!

My family and I adore this bakery - our favorites are their alfajores, guava rolls, and beef empanadas. We are from out of town and have ordered their cookies from Amazon, the process was quick and easy and the cookies arrived in great shape, freshness was preserved with their packaging. My daughters fight over their empanadas every time we get them!
Their custom Honduran coffee is delicious and pairs perfectly with an empanada in the morning!

I recently ordered a cake from this bakery for my anniversary, but unfortunately, I was quite disappointed with what I received. When I opened the box, the cake had already started melting, the frosting was unevenly applied, and the decorations looked poorly made
For $40, I expected better quality and more attention to detail. While I understand that transportation can affect the cake’s condition, the overall presentation and craftsmanship did not meet expectations. I sincerely hope the bakery improves both the quality of decoration and the way cakes are handled to ensure customers receive a product that matches the price.

I appreciate the effort that goes into baking, but based on this experience, I’m not sure if I would order again.

Some of the best meringue and cupcakes i have ever had! The service was quick and the staff were super nice. Excited to come back and try more!

Super clean and inviting atmosphere. Cupcakes were fresh, moist, and very well decorated. I wish there was a lot of cream cheese in the red velvet frosting - I LOVE cream cheese.

Perfect! Shockingly Affordable for the quality. Cupcakes were made with love and didn't taste store-bought. Frosting wasn't that overly-sweet artifical BS which is great to see. Cupcake body was soft, fluffy, and moist. Chicken Empanadas were lovely little snacks and hot-chocolates were creamy and not too sweet! We sat and ate and the owner came out and gave us some free samples of a popular pistachio cookie. We will be back!
