Located in Broadview Heights, Cozumel Mexican offers good food with friendly and kind service. The food is still good and the staff is still great. The burrito a la diabla was amazing, not too spicy, and loved by itself. The frozen margaritas were amazing and the food was excellent as usual. The staff is very pleasant and respectful, treating guests like family. The food is delicious, and the server did an excellent job meeting special requests, making a picky eater happy. The food was great and consistent with other locations. They sang at the table for a birthday and put a huge sombrero on the Birthday girl, which was hilarious and a lot of fun. Micheladas de pacifico were good, and the cheviche was good. The atmosphere is not as nice as it used to be since they opened up walls and placed crummy little tables near the kitchen. The restaurant was clean, and the drinks were cold. Takeaways like cold beans and rice, chips and salsa were ok, but the salsa had a Basel flavor that tasted like pizza sauce. Overall, the restaurant is recommended, with excellent service going above and beyond to make experiences comfortable.
