Food and service was "fine". Unfortunately it took over 90 minutes to get a pizza when the restaurant was half full. Literally watched what appeared to be the only chef chat with every server the entire 90 minutes while he leisurely put one pizza in the oven every 5 -10 minutes. Couldn't be more disappointed.

Me and my boyfriend have been coming here since Salted Dough opened and we’ve never walked out disappointed. We love Jeff and his wife, they are super welcoming. Not to mention the food is always amazing, never had anything bad. I can understand people getting frustrated for the wait period for food but that’s what you are getting when everything is made from scratch and not from a microwave like most places. We will always continue to support Jeff and his staff. 10/10 recommend Salted Dough for breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert !

Don't waste your time or money. Maybe it was an off night but a true trifecta....bad service, bad food and expensive.

Thoroughly enjoyed our rainy afternoon lunch. The restaurant is quaint, not a ridiculously huge menu but enough choices, prices are very reasonable, ample seating at the bar, should be no issue with parking there's a large lot and the chef/owner is extremely friendly. I ordered the Hot Margarita and it was DELISH! Will definitely go back.

I’d been to many restaurants and this was the worst experience I’ve had at a restaurant. Our party called ahead by a few weeks because we planned a party of 30 with kids and adults. When we arrived there was 8 other people in the restaurant. They had 1 waitress on staff along with 2 cooks. It took over 30 minutes for drinks to start coming out after orders were communicated to the waitress. It took 2 hours for about 3/4 of our food orders to arrive at our table. There were about 7 orders missing and the manager on staff said that all orders were fulfilled and they placed blame their only waitress. The waitress wrote down all of our orders and confirmed everything before moving on so I do not blame her.For those that received food they ordered, the food was subpar at best. The waffles, pancakes were good but bacon was either overcooked or hardly cooked. Chicken for the chicken and waffles was okay? I didn’t eat half of my chicken because it was tough and very dark for white meat. Eggs Benedict was okay. The Nutella Crepe was good. Coffee didn’t taste good at all. The mimosa was in a very small glass, overpriced for $9.Regardless customer service was neglected heavily even when approached about it, even when the restaurant was well informed a large party was coming to their establishment, even when they blamed their own staff.I am sure that this place would be best for 2-3 people but are extremely unequipped to handle large parties and need to know something about customer service. I have worked in a customer service environment for over 12 years now and know that when things are slow or not going well, managers should jump in and assist.. not stand at the bar and clean glasses or place blame on their only waitress working in the restaurant .

First time at this restaurant and I was blown away. Not just because the food was amazing but because in the face of a rather jarring mix up with my order—their main Chef came to my table to personally correct the matter, shook my hand, ensured me of the solution. He leads with professionalism in his restaurant and I write this because it’s not the type of service I’ve ever received before during a mix up while dining—no matter the price point. Salted Dough brought the class and grace that day and I will never forget that level of service. Chef raised the bar and it truly meant a lot to me.

First time here and it did not disappoint! The Red pizza and gnocchi were so amazing! Also had the fish fry.. fish was delicious and the fresh cut fries were so good! It did take a little while for the food but everything was homemade and so delicious and definitely worth the wait! The service was great! Will definitely be back!

Awful experience all around. No server, food took extremely long and just not good. The orders were wrong. The dishes were dirty, and the check came on the most disgusting clipboard. It was so over priced it was unbelievable. I really felt taken. Never again. I’m truly surprised they intend to open in little Italy.

Started strong on opening years ago... Menu items sharpied out now, they put spicy sausage on kid's pizza. All staff seem to be in training all the time. I want them to do well, we need good pizza!

Rockstar place, all homemade, a stone fired grill ( OH YEAH!), best pizza pie EVER, we are ruined for any other pie! Our server was extraordinary, she enjoys her job, very friendly, and loved talking with us about the exceptional menu. Thursday is ladies night ... my gurlz and I are planning an evening out!!

Update 1/6/24 - Thank you for the offer, but all pass. I hope you didn't miss the part that you have bartenders that won't make some of your drinks because they don't want to. Not sure how long the scratch kitchen excuse can work for so many complaints until it just appears to be poor planning management. Good luck.Don't go. There are plenty of other places in the area that aren't comically bad. I want to like it here and I have been 5-6 times. It is at best mediocre at worst comically and offensively bad. You'll notice my problems appear in many other reviews. You'll also notice all the replies are the same as well. It does not appear the problem of poor purchasing/training is being addressed.1. Sunday night, maybe one other table and we sat at the bar. The bartender took about 10 minutes to acknowledge us and another 10 to ask what we wanted. He appeared busy without actually doing anything (shuffling papers, rearranging bottles, pushing buttons, etc.). I tried to order a drink from their menu and the bartender refused to make it because it had raw eggs in it which he didn't like messing with. This begs so many questions, primarily, why have it on the menu? Also, why not? I didn't go to your house, wake you up, and ask you to make me a drink...we're at a bar and you are the bartender. The next cocktail could not be made as they were out of some of the ingredients (all available at a grocery store, make a run if you see you're out of something). I ordered a bourbon neat. Surely pouring liquid from a bottle into a glass could be managed. It somehow still took 5 minutes.Same visit - They were out of the first app we ordered. 2nd - no go. 3rd - nada. We gave up.2. Saturday early evening - They're out of the salted dough app. The app the restaurant is named after, they are out of. Dinner was cold chicken on a salad that took an hour to arrive. Being a scratch kitchen (the excuse seen most here) doesn't explain the longest salad ticket time in Cleveland. Again, not busy. The rest of the visits are much the same. Long wait times, out of many things (poor planning), and indifferent staff. It's nice inside and has a lot of potential. Save your money and sanity though. There are other places nearby that are better. At least they can't be worse.
