However everything you read here about the owner’s disturbing behavior—baiting patrons into unwanted political conversations—is accurate. It’s absolutely the most bizarre and unpleasant experience I have ever had in a restaurant anywhere.

Homophobia and overt right wing politics makes for a pretty unpleasant dining experience. While the food and wait staff was amazing, the overall experience significantly suffered. Owner has little to no social awareness, trapping patrons with his blatant hatred. The desperation for connection was palpable and truly disturbing. Wish I had checked the reviews before going, these behaviors are well documented here. Needless to say, lock this man-child up during business hours and this place would be so much better! Bonus points if you throw away the key 😉

Owner bothers people with his right wing rhetoric. Two times here and I can see he loves to bother tables just trying to enjoy their meal and bait them into weird political conversations. Just let me pay you for food, tip your server 20%+, and leave in peace.

I've been here a few times and recently was shocked to see the other reviews were actually true about the owner. I didn't come to dinner to hear him talk politics with customers that clearly don't want to. Read the room, people were uncomfortable. I'll be finding a new mom and pop Italian place purely for the disrespect. One extra star because the server and food were nice.
