The only reason they got 2 stars from me instead of 1 is the milkshakes. The service is almost always very questionable. I was in one time and some other guest was nice enough to pay my bill for me. However, I was sitting at my table, done eating with staff walking by me back and forth all the time. No one stopped to see if I needed anything. They didn't even bother to tell me my check was paid by someone else. I ended up sitting there for 20-25 minutes trying to get one of the servers to stop. I was not pleased.

The slowest drive through you will ever experience. Average wait time 15-20 minutes. Worth the drive to Valley View location.

My family and I visit Steak and Shake at least every 2 weeks. Just for a simple burger and drink. Huey was the management tonight. Not good... Waited a half hour for our drinks and an hour for our food. And it was COLD. NICE ONE HUEY.

This Steak'n'Shake is so in the middle. It's pretty hit and miss with service and quality. Me personally, it's about as average Steak and Shake as they come, but my partner always says their burgers are neat flavorless. They have good and bad days, but it feels like they have more bad days than most other places. :/

Lousy service! It took 10 minutes for us to get seated, another 10 minutes for our server to come and get our drink order and then 25 minutes for us to get our food! And when our food came out, it was COLD!!! One person in our party ordered a burger without ketchup and all of our burgers cane without ketchup, mustard or mayonnaise!!! Our server never came to refill our drinks! We had to ask for silverware and extra napkins! When it was time to pay the bill, the cashier never asked how everything was, never asked if we wanted to see a manager and just walked away when she was done with my transaction! WHAT A WASTE OF SPACE!!!!! That place should be SHUT DOWN!!!!
