Walked in to grab take out just now. I walked to the counter and the guy didn’t greet me. He just looked at me like I was annoying. I said “hi I’m picking up.” He didn’t say anything. He just pointed at a pick up rack and walked away.

What's American Mexican restaurants go? This is a good one. The original cozumel in lakewood is my favorite but this is my second favorite. Staff was polite efficient. The food was tasty. Serve quickly and a good value for the money. It was a lovely day in the outdoor patio was a nice option. Anyone in the brunswick area I would recommend and I will go there again.

I dont know what is different about their refried beans but they are soooo delicious. I just got a bean burrito and was expecting it to be just that, a bean burrito but oh my goodness it was sooo good. Service was quick and the restaurant is pretty big so I cant ever see there being a wait. Prices were good as well.

Cozumel in Brunswick is a great spot for Mexican food with a lively atmosphere and friendly service. Even though there was about a 15–20 minute wait, we were seated in less time than expected, and the staff was quick with chips, salsa, and drinks. The food came out hot, flavorful, and in generous portions, making it well worth the visit. Overall, the service was attentive, the wait was short, and the experience was very enjoyable.

2 of us Visited during the dinner rush on 9/26 around 5 pm. Was told it would be a 20 minute wait and was handed a buzzer. Crowd started forming outside as the line grew. 40 or so minutes passed and we realized families who arrived after us were being seated. We went to the host stand to ask what was going on to find out our buzzer wasn’t activated and we weren’t even on the list. When we asked how long it would be for a table after that the little girl running the host stand first tried to blame the young man who was seating people, but after we confirmed we spoke with her she just shrugged her shoulders and went back to wiping down menus. No apology. No solution provided. We didn’t go to dinner in the middle of rush expecting to be seated immediately, however providing customer service is a simple job. Will never return.

We tested the limits of Cozumel after our family gathered to bid farewell to my wonderful Brother. There were approximately 30 of us (we called ahead, days in advance, to make sure they could accommodate our large group), and the staff was truly helpful and willing to handle multiple checks and the varied tastes of kids (chicken tenders and French fries) and adults who desired special drinks and a wide variety of menu items. Considering how many of us were present, and the individual tastes of so many people, the service was very good, the food was hot and freshly prepared, and although we were in mourning for someone we deeply loved, we found comfort in the pleasant experience of eating together at Cozumel. Although I live in another state, when I return to Brunswick, I will definitely seek out Cozumel. They did an awesome job of feeding a large number of people, and I heard not a single complaint. Thanks to the kind staff for helping us at this difficult time in our lives. I highly recommend Cozumel.

We sent a drink back because it is not what we thought and after that the server became so hostile and snippy. We didn’t mind paying for it I don’t understand why after that he was stomping around.

The staff greets you with genuine smiles and friendly energy, making you feel like a valued guest rather than just another table.
The chips and salsa? Incredible. The salsa has just the right kick, and the chips are perfectly crisp. Their queso is must add . Every dish I’ve tried here bursts with authentic flavor, from the sizzling fajitas that arrive at your table like a little fiesta to the tender, perfectly seasoned carne asada that melts in your mouth. 🔥
