Boat Yard at Buckeye Lake

I was in the Boatyard today. I’ve been going there for nearly five years. I’ve always enjoyed the view and great bands they have. This may be my last time in though. They were clearly understaffed. And clearly totally unprepared for a nice day in late April. The one and only bartender was beyond just rude. Any time I asked for anything she was surly, and snapped at me. She forgot my request almost every time and when I asked again , up to 3 times., she barked at me. “ I know you’re waiting for a drink”. If I asked a question about anything on the menu she was obviously angry at me for wasting her time. Glared at me. She was obviously having tough time. I’ve seen many servers overwhelmed. I have NEVER had anyone treat me like a second class citizen. I’m 70 years old, live The in Village of Buckeye Lake and tip well. And I tipped her, in case you want to know. So many other choices here at Buckeye Lake. Bite the hand that feeds you and see what happens.

We stopped at the Boatyard on Saturday night. Band was Right on Main and they were great. Unfortunately our waitress was terrible. Very rude and not nice at all. Still great place just have to tweak the staff.

If you want the best drinks, the best bartenders, the best food, pick this place. We love you Ray Ray and Nate!

Nice place to just relax and have a meal. Portion sizes are good and prices are moderate. The hamburgers are obviously Frozen patties which are okay but not the best. Sat outside overlooking the lake with our dog. Glad it was dog friendly that's partially why we went there. Service was fantastic as usual. It is a little confusing when you walk in you don't know you're just supposed to seat yourself a sign could be helpful for that.

Beautiful “ bar” on the lake. Pretzel and beer cheese are top notch. Plenty of drink and food options.

Parking: Ton of gravel parking behind restaurant

Kid-friendliness: Kids menu available. Toddler able to walk around and be outside ( next to table) while we eat

Casual, cozy, unpretentious, top notch pub food, good draft selection. Quality live entertainment. Best spot on the lake...? Don't know who's better.

I had the crab ragoon nachos with shrimp added and it did not disappoint!! Great food, service, and atmosphere!! Highly recommend👌

Great outdoor waterfront dining. Alex, our server was very pleasant and took time to give us a history and background on the lake and surrounding areas. He also was an excellent server. Not to mention, the food is very good also..

The Boat Yard at Buckeye Lake is a fantastic place to kick back and relax. The atmosphere is perfect for unwinding, with beautiful views of the lake and a laid-back vibe. The food is absolutely delicious—everything I tried was super good and exceeded my expectations. Whether you're there for a meal or just to enjoy the scenery, this spot is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommend it!
