“We eat at Chef Shack every chance we get when at the lake. Simply put- fantastic food by people that care. Best burger in the area (including Columbus). Owners are friendly, food is always fresh and perfect. Best food on the lake by a MILE!”

While it's always all been good: our favorites include the Buckeye Bowl, Chilies Rellenos, their enchiladas and fresh chips: and my new favorite Shrimp Fajitas and of course the Margaritas (especially the freshest Margarita). “By and large, Wendy’s has a better hamburger than McDonald’s. Have been going to the Buckeye Lake Ohio Wendy’s for 25+ years. Today was a first. I had not eaten in the dining room since before Covid. I usually get drive thru but my husband and I decided to eat in today. What a terrible disappointment. I wanted to place a separate take out order so my husband got the straws and napkins and got a table while I waited on my salad to take home. There were only 2 other tables of people so the store was not that busy. The store was dirty with food all over the floor. When I complained, I was told that they are under construction. I told them that food all over the floor is not construction related. One trash can was over-flowing and there was no place to put your garbage. They were out of spoons in the dining room so I had to ask for spoons for our frosties. There was no ketchup in the dining room so I had to go back and ask for ketchup. My second trip to the counter, I asked if there was a manager around. The cashier pointed to a lady. She looked in my direction and then turned her back and walked away. This is the worse experience I have ever had at this store in the 25+ years I have been going there. I’m so disappointed. But yes I would still recommend Wendy’s food.”

“Great food!! Amazing service!! Best atmosphere that I have had in a restaurant. Highly recommend, right now they are only open until 1:30, so go for breakfast or lunch.”

“Overall this was a very enjoyable place to grab food and a large variety beer. I will say if you want a huge variety of beer from across the country, this place is a must visit! A range all all styles are represented on their tap menu. They also have space for private parties and very attentive staff that are quick to help with any questions.

I didn't really care for the fully wrapped glasses, takes away from my beer experience by looking at the beer appearance, but that just a personal preference. During my visit they only had 3 of their beers on tap which was a little disappointing, probably wouldn't come back just due to this.

“Some of the best Indian Food in the area. Don’t be put off that it’s a trailer in a motel parking lot. We had the chicken tikka masala and butter chicken as our main dishes which came with a generous helping of rice. We also got some raita and butter naan. All were very tasty. My only feedback is that they need to increase the portions of chicken in the dishes.”
