I was in the Boatyard today. I’ve been going there for nearly five years. I’ve always enjoyed the view and great bands they have. This may be my last time in though. They were clearly understaffed. And clearly totally unprepared for a nice day in late April. The one and only bartender was beyond just rude. Any time I asked for anything she was surly, and snapped at me. We stopped at the Boatyard on Saturday night. Band was Right on Main and they were great. Unfortunately our waitress was terrible. Very rude and not nice at all. Still great place just have to tweak the staff.
I thought we would try this place out for lunch for my birthday. First, it is not clear where to enter to be seated. There were no signs to let you know if you need to wait to be seated or seat yourself.
After wondering around for a couple of minutes looking for an employee to find out where to be seated, I finally saw one and asked if we needed to wait to be seated or sit anywhere. He looked around confused and said, "yeah, sure."
