Buckeye Lake Margaritas

I can not comment on the quality of food because after being seated, we waited over 20 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. I believe it was the manager who finally stopped and asked if we had been waited on. I told him we have been here over 20 minutes and nobody had stopped to see us. He just gave us 2 glasses of water, no apology and said someone would be with us shortly. That is when we left and have not been back.

Their barbacoa tacos are probably the best in central Ohio that I have tasted. They are authentic and you can get all of the typical ingredients that you could get in Mexico, so they are 100% authentic. The waitress also fulfilled our every request. We will absolutely be coming back!

Had dinner there tonight. Just 2 of us sat at a table. Both of us ordered a margarita. Apps were very slow to come out. Ordered a 2nd margarita, extremely sweet and very little tequila. Dinner came out, asked for another margarita with top shelf tequila. Waitress came back and said she couldn’t serve us another margarita. I was shocked, line at the door, and I assume they wanted our table. We paid our bill and left. Margaritas sucked!

To start off, the service was absolutely terrible. I had to flag someone down each time we wanted another drink. The guacamole lacked flavor and the salsa was inedible. However, the queso was really good. I had the fajita quesadilla. It was not bad and although it did not have a variety of peppers in it the taste overall was really good.
My boyfriend had the beef chimichangas which looked like they were the size of eggrolls.
Lastly, my piña colada was good with the exception that I never dreamed a shot of rum would cost as much as the drink itself

We happened in on the day before Cinco de Mayo. Special music and dancers. We were celebrating my birthday. Have been there before will go back again.

It was my husband and I first time eating here today with our baby for a date night and the food and atmosphere was amazing! The staff were so welcoming and kind as well. We enjoyed the wonderful Cinco de Mayo entertainment that was preformed today!

They’re my favorite Mexican restaurant, their food is amazing, the staff are extremely friendly, the service is excellent. Highly recommend. The drinks are great

My favorite place to eat on the lake. Alex and his family make you feel like family. Fresh food, Amazing Margaritas and great service. Try Alex's Margarita, it is the best!
