“Did I visit on opening day in <10 degree weather? Yes. Would I do it again? Also yes. Not only is everything at Skoops phenomenal, they crank the feel-good tunes and the employees genuinely seem to enjoy being there! I recommend… everything! My favorite lately is the lemon cheesecake cone but I’m a huge fan of the cake slice of the day as well. Give Skoops a try, they’re worth it!”

“I have been there a few times and it never disappoints. The homemade lasagna is to die for . The spaghetti was the proper proportion and just wonderful in taste and texture. I have been there for a couple breakfast and everything was really good. I do also want to add about the atmosphere, and the people that work there they are funny attentive to our needs and pleasant to everybody. This is a must go to restaurant.”

“I have passed this place several times while passing through Smithville. I finally had a minute to stop. Unironically, that minute was after I dropped off the young man who has been living with us at the career center for his next step to becoming an independent adult. I have been feeling so frustrated lately like every step we take has a huge road block. I parked, walked in, and was immediately met with the chorus of How Great Is Our God. In that moment, I knew that despite any frustrations, God’s got this all handled. I know, seems a bit crazy for a simple little coffee shop, but God is working here!”

“Went there because we were thinking they had breakfast all day...ended up having there Friday fish dinner with shrimp and it was wonderful husband got club sandwich both were great and Aunt B was even better came out to meet us and gave us free piece of fish to taste B4 we ordered it. “Sad to say or glad to say I take my grandchildren here often . Sometimes the line is 30 people sometimes four either way it is worth the wait. Sad when a monthly special goes away like the sticky fingers., but there are so many other great flavors to choose from. The Price is Right , do yourself a favor and give them a try you'll be surprised how much you get for your dollar. I'm afraid my review will make me be the 40th person in the morning but it's worth it to keep them around . Don't forget to check they work really hard , and constant”

“Food was ok had options but the server was not happy at all and was not getting are drinks refilled we couldn't find her to let her know so we told another server 20 minutes later are drinks were refilled”

“I probably would inly go back for the food. If you enjoy a local country bar atmosphere this is for you. The food was great, I got a cheeseburger and I'd love to get one again.We had a struggle getting someone's attention to pay for our meals as we were leaving (but I think it was their peak busy hour). So overall decent place, just wasn't my husband and I's kind of hangout”

“Andy’s fire pizza gave me wild heart burn though it was amazing. I would’ve eaten more but it was leftovers and he kept insisting the kitchen was closed because it was two in the morning and supposedly the bar was also closed. It’s an awesome small local bar, I recommend.”

“I love going to this one because it's local and I usually don't have an issue at this location. However, the last trip I made earlier tonight was not so good. They refused to make the pretzel I wanted even though there was still about a half hour until closing, and then when I asked for one they already made, they gave me the wrong one. Next time I think I'll go during the day time when the supervisor is still working.”

“Nice little bar. Food is good with a decent variety. Have had wings; they are good size and flavor, and tacos on Wednesday; also good, got the hot and they had good flavor not simply hot. Beers are reasonably priced so you wont go broke if you order more than one. The few times I was there the bartender was attentive and efficient.”
