this place was terrible. The jerk chicken was horrible. I honestly don’t know why us African even bother making jerk chicken. It was bad. It was terrible. The rice didn’t even look like rice and peas. The chicken wasn’t well done. The cabbage was disgusting and the customer service the lady look like she didn’t wanna work like she had an issue being there overall if there was a -0 I would definitely give it a -0. and the plantain was so greasy and sloppy. I threw my food away. I couldn’t even eat it so pissed that I wasted $14. Why is it that us? African? Don’t have good customer service why open a restaurant with no good customer service

It used to be good but now it is going downhill they give you small portion size I ordered potato leaves and it had two bones in it with no meat on top of the lady had somewhat of a nasty attitude not one of my favorites anymore

If i could give less than a 1 star i would. I ordered at 3:53 off doordash I get there at 4:27 to be told 10 more minutes. Then when I go back in there was told again that it will be another 10 minutes because they are being made. So an order that shouldnt have been placed since there was none available for sale as off the time and being told multiple times just another 10 minutes isnt a good business plan then to hear the cook talking about “someone else will buy them” when I decided to cancel the order is hilarious to me. Like sis you sounded mad because YOUR business isnt handling things correctly. My original pick up time was 4:19 and I still never received the food that was the whole purpose of showing up later than the time to give time to make the food 🙄

I usually get fufu and egusi from Fork in Nigeria, I love it. I tried this place to see how it is, and my fufu was not sticky like quality fufu. tastes more like boxed mashed potatos hydrated and formed into a ball.
the egusi is disgusting. 3 massive globs of pure fat, hard pieces of.. fish? meat? like jerky. tastes stinky old freezer-burned fishy goop and found 3 hard bones in it i bit into each time. totally disgusting, and for 17.99? i wont be back, sorry.

The younger lady that’s in the front it very nasty and doesn’t have any good costumer service. I order through ubereats and had to call because she was being rude to my delivery driver. Makes me not want to order again, even when I called she got nasty and tried talking over me.

Sadly, I will not try any more cuisines from this location. Ordered the Egusi stew and did not like it at all. That consistency was way too watered down, and it was over, seasoned as if too much saw accidentally was added. The fufu is too soft as well, with no sticky consistency. Taste like a powder was used to mix and make the FuFu.

I have been here before and from then to today I can honestly give this 5 stars for the food. They added Red Snapper to the menu and it is AMAZING! Everything I ordered was fresh, delicious, well packaged and appetizing. This is truly the Queen of African restaurants in the area. Try it! ( Red Snapper, Neme, brown rice, pictured)
