Honestly, heard nothing but great things about the place and then watched the owner put her hands on a guest wasn’t a pleasant experience. She was loud and annoying and made the entire place feel like a prison.

Ordered the cheesesteak omelet this morning 9/24/25 at 8:15 am. After 40 minutes and no food I got up and left. Seems like a great place, the 2 servers were friendly and the atmosphere was very homey. The owner was very outspoken and interacted with the guests jokingly but she should have been aware of her business and the poor service I received. I won’t be back, too many other choices!

This is a local restaurant. Not open super long but the food is absolutely phenomenal. The service is incredible. A local diner that really just stands the test of time would recommend to anyone traveling through this quaint little town of canal Winchester and I would highly recommend the dumpster burrito. It is literally what it says. Everything all on one filling with potatoes and their rye bread is really a smash Hit.

Was looking forward to trying this place, but was quite disappointed with the service and food and will not be returning. It took almost one hour to get our food. The server never came back to ask how our food was and if we needed anything else. Another server barked at us across another table to get off our phones twice. I don’t know this person and if they’re joking around, but it was very rude. The food was just ok. The pancakes and french toast were undercooked and soggy. I will say the prices are fair.

I had the best omelet and home fries this morning at Canal Wigwam. Their menu is varied and there is something for everyone. I also got to meet the owner, Teri and she is super sweet! If you're out in the area, be sure to stop in and grab a bite to eat. They do close at 2pm so come early!
