Best burger in town

This place is so bad. My family and I were excited to try a new restaurant in Canal, and we left super disappointed. The fried chicken sandwich was not edible and looked so old- the color of it was grey. Fries cold. Everything lackluster. The server was very sweet that’s the only reason they got 4 stars for service. Wouldn’t recommend and won’t be back.

I travel to the area for work often and find myself sitting here most nights. Plenty of space to work on my laptop for a few hours. Great food and wine selection in a nice atmosphere. Servers are kind and attentive.

I actually seen this place pop up on my tik tok for you page and thought we would try for lunch since it’s local. I was really disappointed. Service was not great, had to ask for refills a few times. They were out of chicken tenders? Decided to get the grilled cheese instead and that wasn’t great either. Very skimpy on the amount of fries we got for the price we are paying. In the end, we won’t be back. At least we tried it out.

Great little place. Food was good and the service was great. Highly recommend trying this place out.

I ordered a delivery for a pizza that was only permitted to buy for 31 dollars. I wanted extra sauce but they only permitted a sauce cup on the side. I called and asked to use that extra sauce on my pizza. They said they would and got the driest pizza was like eating a piece of bread with peperoni on it. Someone either didn't care or was just to damed lazy to do their job. Try and pay 50 dollars for a pizza that wasn't made to your order.

We have been twice so far. Amazing service. So kind and helpful. I love the decor they have in the restaurant. And for the food… everything my fiance and I have tried has been SO good. The smash burger MELTS in your mouth. The turkey bacon sandwich is so juicy and flavorful. Their fries, pizza, and apps are so good too! Even their alcohol is good.

Went in for lunch on a Saturday, 1 bartender who was also the server for the tables. She did a hell of a job. I had the Chicago Beef a little skimpy on the beef, au jus was very light and tasteless. The meatball sub wasn't bad should of asked for extra sauce. We will probably wait a while, but give it another shot.

Had been wanting to try for a long time. Boy what a disappointment.it wasn’t crowded when we got there. Lillian was our server. She was not the most personable-didn’t seem like she wanted to be there. We ordered burgers. Not being a fan of sauces I asked if aioli could be on side. No problem. We never got the one Diet Pepsi we ordered even though Lillian was walking around like she had nothing to do. I finally got her attention and I felt like it was an inconvenience. Burgers came out and we had to ask for napkins,silverware, and ketchup. My aioli was in a container but I noticed an orange sauce all over. I asked and she said well that’s the burger sauce. Told her that I didn’t realize there was another sauce. And that I couldn’t eat it. She looked at me like I was crazy. The menu shows it as roasted garlic aioli ,burger sauce. Not roasted garlic aioli AND burger sauce. I figured the burger sauce was the aioli. Actually a good server would have responded when I asked for the aioli on the side that oh well there is another sauce. She just stared at me and said well I can check to see if they will give you a new bun and cheese. Most places with any class and good customer service would remake the whole thing. So I then proceeded to wipe all the sauce off, took off the pickle ,cheese and carmelized onion. After a bit I was hungry so I just cut burger in half and just ate with bottom bun. Then she finally comes back with an untoasted bun and a piece of cold American cheese. I ate neither. The fries were good. Burger pretty tasteless not seasoned and no salt and pepper on table. Worst burger ever.

They need to figure it out quick.
Idk if it's mgmt or ownership. But priorities need shifted.
Stop worrying about getting your wine bottles on a table at 5:30 on a friday night!! service whos in the window or expo? While your future profits sit and wait to be talked to or greeted or waited on?
Walked in host was maybe 20 but was clearly their best employee. She got my order in and got me a seat at the bar.
After going to the bar it took 20 mins to be acknowledged. Another 5 mins to take a drink order...
This restaurant maybe seats 35 people and it wasn't even half full.
ELLA do you want to be a restaurant and serve beautiful pizza that has a 5 star worthy rating. Even with the 20-30 min wait..
Or do you want to be a wine bar in a kroger parking lot?
As a lover of pizza and of Canal, I really want this place to rise to their full potential and show this part of town they might have one of the best pizza crust and options this side of c-bus.
But mgmt or ownership has to buckle down.
Talked to 2 guest both couples while I was in there. They both said food was amazing but the flow and staff are clearly mislead or missing leadership.
Good luck and I hope I can take this 1 star review down and let everyone know this place is the bees knees with a few sharp changes.
