My husband and I spent a wonderful Friday evening at Loose Rail Brewing, and we couldn’t have asked for a better night out. The atmosphere was fantastic, with live music playing from 7-10 PM, creating the perfect backdrop for a relaxing evening.
The food and service were excellent, and we were pleasantly surprised by the affordable prices. We ordered a beer flight for just $10, which was a great way to sample a variety of their brews. For food, we shared garlic parmesan wings, fried pierogies, and pulled chicken tots — and everything was absolutely delicious! Best of all, our food total before tip was only $34.
We loved the indoor/outdoor seating and the inviting vibe that made us feel right at home. We’ll definitely be back for another enjoyable evening!
If I could add 0 stars I would. I’ve never left a bad review online before. But for expresso flights we waited over an hour OUTSIDE in cold. People got there's before us when we ordered ahead. Then they tell us “we”re just going in the order we write” clearly not and got an attitude. I’ll never be back again nor will my friends. Multiple people left and never got anything. Service was horrible.
Went for Halloween party, website talked it up.... got there it was nothing.
Awesome place, great food, drinks and service. Apparently they also have love music
Love this place! Great beer and food!
Friendly people and very good beer. The Peach Shandy is top notch ?
This is not a safe space for queer or BIPOC people. There is one of the biggest Don’t Tread On Me flags hung in the rafters and old confederate paraphernalia everywhere. Most recently they’ve added an Israel flag, perpetuating Zionism & normalizing the occupation of the Palestinian people. Wouldn’t recommend.
The was average, nothing terribly notable but not bad. The cockroaches on the other hand were very notable. The place is absolutely infested with roaches. I saw a couple around a trash can ans didn't think much of it. We moved to the bar to be away from the cans. I was looking around and saw them crawling everywhere, inside and ourside. Other patrons were taking photos, patrons on the patio had to shuffle their feet to avoid being crawled on. One guy walked up to the bar and said something to the bartenders and was told they were water bugs. The guy was a home inspector and verified that these are 100% roaches and roaches of all ages. If this is what the taproom looks like I can’t image the kitchen.
Well never be back.
Bad beer, worse vibe
We really enjoyed visiting especially talking to our bartender and sampling the beers. It’s a beautiful building and you got to love the DORA rules where you can walk the downtown area with a beer.

We were there on a Friday evening for the first time. We sat on the patio and enjoyed the live music. So often, live music is too loud to enjoy conversation, but this was the perfect volume. The beer was good and had a good selection of other drinks, though I wish they weren't out of the peach shandy :) There's a good variety of food choices, salads, pizza, appetizers, sandwiches, wings, etc. We were all able to find multiple things on the menu we enjoyed.
Excellent!
Great fun and awesome bar staff!
Really cool atmosphere. Great place to just hang out.
Great beer, good food, and great live music. We had the build your own pizza. It was really good, probably my favorite crustin the midwest. Also had the perogy which were also good. My wife had the hit honey Brussel sprouts, which were really good but a little too spicy for her, but she still ate them all...
