Roman's Pizza Super Sub Shoppe

What a great find! We were in the mood for pizza, being from NJ, we know it’s a stretch finding decent pizza outside the NJ/Philly/NYC area. Well you’ve got it here in Roman’s. We got the thin half cheese half pepperoni and we were pleasantly surprised. Not so thin it was like a wafer but not thick like Sicilian style pizza. Nice crispy crust, really tasty sauce and the pepperoni was nice and thin.
The owner was great too and we wish him all the best. Wish we took more pictures but it was so good we forgot until there was only a few slices left!

One of the worst pizzas we’ve ever had and we’ve ordered from here many times. It was an extra large pizza and the sauce was non existent and the crust was hard as a brick and thin in spots and thick in others. The flavor was bland because there was so little amount of sauce that you could see the crust through it.

We went last night for the first time. We recently moved to Canal and love it! People were very nice but pizza was horrible. Crust was like chewing hard leather we couldn’t eat it we had to just eat toppings which was good! But that crust was the worst! Too bad we had high hopes! Will not return!

Update: they gave him cash refund for the total order. Updating to 3 stars.My husband ordered a pizza here at 6:07 pm. At the time, it says pizza will be ready in 35 min. He stopped by there with our kids from their sports activities to pick the pizza up at 645 pm and was told that it’s not ready!! And that he has to wait for another 15 min! He was told he get refunded but we’ll see. Will edit review depending on how they will handle this customer service. This might be the last time we are ordering from them.

Fun little pizza pub in historic Canal Winchester. Quaint and had live music on the weekends. Small town charm.

We went to Romans last night for some pizza. We've never been there and knew they had some mixed reviews. This is not a fancy building, I would classify this as a hole in the wall. The pizza was great! We met the new owner and he was very nice, even turned the hockey game on for us. Don't go here expecting anything fancy. This is a laid back place with good pizza. Simple as that.
