Bender's is the best fine dining experience Canton, Ohio has to offer. The menu delivers on the classics while keeping the specials fresh and interesting, the service is second to none, and the ambience is both historical and warm in a way that is truly unique. A must stop if you're in the city - and make sure you pass through the bar on the way to your table.
It was a Monday, so maybe a little off for that reason. Very loud by the bar even though not any people at the bar. Bartenders slamming empties into trash. We both jumped every time. No more saltines and fresh horseradish offered, just stale rolls. The sides were cold and not properly seasoned. Fried oysters were very oily. Normally completely impressed, but this time was just ok and didn't seem worth the price tag.
Server 3rd day on the job and she exceeded expectations. Great communication, friendly and appetizers were delivered and paced properly prior to entree delivery scrod A La Foley was amazing as usual.
