Piada Italian Street Food

Ordered curbside (very small/simple quick order) and was notified via email that the order was ready at 5:30 which is when I arrived at the site and let the store know I was there. I waited 15 minutes and then called the restaurant to let them know I was waiting and they told me they couldn’t bring it out because they were to busy and since I had my sick baby sleeping in the car (which is why I did curbside) they said they would bring it out. Waited another 10 minutes and called again. They said they sent someone out but no one was out there I was looking the whole time and I didn’t receive my order. Finally just left and had to cancel my order after 30 minutes of waiting and trying to communicate with the restaurant.

Went to bite into my piada and was blessed with some horribly undercooked steak. Seeing another recent post of raw meat is quite concerning. Will not be going back.

Food is average. Best way to order is online and pickup. The people always have an attitude inside and it's always dirty.

I didn’t want to post this but yet here I am. I ordered this food about a week and a half ago… after eating a bit of my salmon I realized it felt and tasted undercooked. I then proceeded to cut into the middle, sure enough it’s undercooked. I’m 8 months pregnant and this could have made me extremely sick. I called in to the store immediately and was told they’d issue me a gift card with a refund via email. That never happened. I called again the next day, (speaking with management both times).. & was told that they sent the request in and should receive it soon. It is now a week and half later and still I received nothing 🫠 very disappointing as I believe people deserve second chances, but failure to keep your word lost them theirs. I won’t do business with them again.

Unfortunately this place is not what it used to be, I stopped by Piada for lunch yesterday expecting good food and everything tasted old or like it’s been sitting for a while. Staff seemed unhappy to be there and everyone was just standing around for a while before I was even served. I’m a regular in there but I’m starting to explore my options because it’s not looking too good anymore, sucks to say. Do better piada.

I am so sad to see my favorite people are no longer there. Marshey, Ebony, Kobe, Jaz and Lupe. They really made you feel like family in the few minutes of interacting with them, and if I didn't come in they always asked if I was ok when I came back the following week. They always greeted everyone with a smile and lovely conversation. My order , as a regular, was usually being made by the time I got to the counter. It's just not the same experience without them there. The food is still good, but it's just not the same.

Food is good but the service is always bad. Last two times I've come here I've ordered ahead and arrived 5-10 minutes after the time the food was supposed to be ready. Each time, we have walked inside to find they haven't even started preparing the order. The staff are incredibly rude and standoffish when we tell them we had a mobile order that was placed 15-20 minutes prior. Then takes them 10 minutes to get the order together. Doesn't take that long to get the food ready, they assemble the meals and then leave them sitting on the counter until a different staff member feels like doing their job and bags it up. My boyfriend literally watched the girl set both of our bowls down on the counter and walk away and 5 minutes later another girl came over and put it in a bag and handed it to him. He assumed it wasn't our food since the girl he originally asked for help is the one who put it on the counter. Genuine insanity in this place.

Although I don't go often, Piada is one of my favorite guilty pleasures. My favorites are Basil Pesto Pasto Diavolo Pasta. Chef's kiss ?
