Went here on a whim while we were in Carey for a parade. Was definitely a good choice. We were greeted upon entering, the waitress was friendly and attentive, and the menu had a lot of wonderful dinner choices. The whole family loved the food.

We stopped on our way through just on a whim. This little hole-in-the-wall bar surprised us all! The food was fresh, home made and delicious! I got the perch which was huge! The tartar sauce has clove or nutmeg and tastes so much better than that drab old store bought tartar. The cole slaw was fresh and crispy. Service was excellent and friendly!

Went for a very family retirement dinner. The staff was exceptional and food was delivered quickly, especially to the kids in the group. Food was excellent!

Sat with my son and granddaughters for an hour, got 1 coffee refill and no food? I had to leave,but piss poor for breakfast .they were busy,but not that busy???
My great and I both had the BLT and fries and it was amazing! Our waitress was amazing also!

We stopped at Splinter's by chance, looking for a place to eat while in Carey. Wow, were we impressed! We loved the old decor. The waitresses were great, with their suggestions and service! The food was fantastic and the prices were not bad. The next time we're in Carey we'll stop in again!
