“Little bar off the highway in the middle of nowhere. Great space, helpful staff and great drink options. Awesome dart boards, good table and board game options even. But let's get to the main event. The food. I've eaten several items here and not a single one has disappointed. The corn dogs and cheeze curds are fantastic. I've never had the sweet corn bites before here and they were very delightful. Their loaded tots are TREMENDOUS and the burgers. Holy cow. Literally. Im getting the western next time I'm in, and there will definitely be a next time. Excellent local spot and the owner is in from time to time, stop in and say hello!”

“Stopped in on our way through town and so glad we did. The staff were so helpful and quick. My wife had a caramel latte which was so good and the coconut roast coffee I tried was an astonishing suprise. Fantastic experience. Will return the next time we're in the area”

“Stopped in for lunch while working in the area. Ordered cheese burger, sweet potato fries, and coleslaw. Burger was cooked perfectly. The fries were, too. The coleslaw was fresh and you get a nice size serving. Some places serve it in a thimble. Not here . I have been here several times. Food and service are good and consistent........”

He worked with us on our every request, and everything was perfect. We have received MANY compliments from guests on the food and the venue. “I ordered a pizza for delivery… it came.. I literally JUST realized the driver filled out her OWN tip and wrote the total. She told me I just needed to sign and I glanced the in the process of my toddler throwing a fit and just seen it was filled out and didn’t think any of it. She left and I sat down and realized what happened. I mean cool she did sell herself short on a tip because I was going to tip a little more than she wrote but I still think the customer should be able to dictate the tip and not the driver.”

“I must say that this morning around 11 I received the best looking and all around best tasting quasidilla I’ve ever had. “This place gets crowded fast. There needs to be about 5 less tables for there to be room to move. The bar food is ok, pretzels are highly recommend. We tasted the coffee beer and the s'mores beer. Not to shabby on both really. But the coffee wins hands down. Live music here is ok, not really set up for a decent show, but can hold their own for most acts. Parking in back is small and not well planned, but if you get there early and leave late you won't even notice. All in all id definitely go back. It's a great place for that town. Probably the best.”

“Even if the dining room was closed they let me use the drive thru my vehicle is too big normal I ordered and they got my order right.Parking: It's hard for me to find parking since I drive an 18 wheeler”

“Delicious spot in a little old town. We stopped for lunch and had the roast beef sandwich and Fort 88 burger with bacon. The thickest slab of bacon I’ve ever seen in a burger. The food is all locally sourced and very well made. The waitress was friendly and attentive. Great spot!”

“Beca House Coffe is a cute little spot. It has tables and chairs for walk-in and sit guests and a drive-thru for those on the go and a large parking area with wide doors. Service is fast and friendly, and the flavor is amazing. There is a decent variety of drinks muffins bagels and cookies, even a kids drink menu. They also sell custom Beca House Merch. Great stop great coffee exactly the quick little pick me up you need on the go.”

“This was a first time eating here for my Husband and I. Our server Taylor was phenomenal. She never skipped a beat while waiting on our table and a very large party that was seated in a side room. My husband and I never had to remind her of our request or wait on drinks. Our steaks were cooked as ordered and portions sized for the cost of our meal. My husband and I had a great experience at Boone's Steer Barn.”

“14” pizza with 3 toppings, $13. Beer $2.25, mixed drink $4. Pizza was good! Drinks were good (not light on the alcohol in the mixed drink like some places)! They have Broasted chicken we’ll try next time we go. Everything is home made so don’t plan on being in a hurry.”

“Over Priced for simple food. The Band on Thursday was way to loud could not even enjoy talking to date. The food was fine but I can go to my local legion and get better food for half the price. I don't see me going back when there are other places to try in the area.”

“First time back in the Boxcar in 11 years. Wanted a green beer for St Patty's Day, and they came through with some. Fair prices for drafts as well. $2.25 for 16oz, and $2.50 for 22oz. Go with the 22oz, comes in a ice cold tall mug. This place has changed so much over the years. I remember going in when you had to use the short stick to shoot pool. Great crowd, friendly and fun people.”

“Wednesdays are their wings night, wings are really good, however the pub does not accept credit card but there is an atm. The place looked like it hasn’t been updated or remodeled since the early 90’s. Lots of county boys ;)”

The salads as a meal are huge and very good.Service was good.Parking: Street parking only which is shared with 3 soon to be 4 other restaurants. Good luck getting anything close to the door.”
