“Lovely place and excellent wine! I have been on the hunt for YEARS for a vanilla forward wine and Gillig Winery has achieved it with their Vanilla Barrel Bliss wine! I love it! The Mocha Bliss wine was also a favorite. I just discovered them a few days ago and hope to be back very soon!”

“I was in town from Columbus for a dance competition over the weekend and made at stop to try out a couple of the beers. I had the Hops for Hands-Riwaka IPA and the 4 on the Floor Blonde Ale. I really enjoyed both. The bartenders were friendly, interacted with the guests, and it looks like they have a lot of great activities going on throughout the week like trivia, bingo and euchre tournaments. I would definitely recommend it and would love to stop by again to try more of their beers.”

Our server Amber gave us great drink recommendations and her hospitality was on point. Recommend pretzels and chicken buffalo dip.”

“We stopped by this restaurant on our way home from Detroit to Columbus. It was a very busy Saturday night, so the wait was a little bit longer than expected. However when the food finally came, each minute of waiting paid off. Very authentic and delicious Japanese food. My dinner box has very good variety. When they serve your tempora with smashed white radish, you know it's a good Japanese restaurant. My husband had curry rice with tonkatsu. The curry is every rich in flavor, and he did not share his tonkatsu with me, so I don't know how that tastes like. (Must be too good to share?)The eating experience is quite enjoyable (except the waiting part), but it did not stop here. It was until Sunday and after we got back to Columbus that I realized I left my purse at Japan West. I left Japan West a message, and they replied once they received it. And the staff was nice enough to mail it back to me, so I don't have to go through all the work to replace my driver's license and bank cards. Thank you so much, Japan West. This doesn't mean I encourage you to leave your purse at a restaurant, but Japan West, they have the hospitality to go extra milage to provide you a real GOOD service. I like it much.”

“The vibe, the vibe, the vibe.... this is what they mean when they say, "It passed the vibe check!" Simply beautiful. Went here for an impromptu birthday dinner, and we left angry that we'd been through Findlay so many times and had never stopped her before.First, the aesteics are moody abs modern with dark black walls and a single rose on the table! Pops of silver read fancy without trying too hard. Like she's whispering,... "If you know, you know." Every table feels like VIP sans velvet rope. Can we pause and give the drummer some? In this case, it's the bar! Exquisite!!! Signature drinks, sexy and flawlessly smooth with the perfect flavor profiles and garnished beautifully without doing too much. This is where the art of mixology trump a waiter that runs behind the bar to make a drink every time.Food superb,.... service outstanding. Just go, because frankly, I'm going back. I mean, who the heck makes meatloaf from duck???!!!! Look, it should be illegal the way our eyes glazed over as we were served an entire pork shank! Even the salad was banging! This is an awesome gem in small town America... patronize a business that's doing it right!”

Meijer Deli 2200 Tiffin Ave, Findlay Deli • $$

“Customer service AND customers who care. I wish I would’ve thought to call the manager this night to commend their employee & overall environment. A couple of weeks ago, my husband was gone for work. I had all 4 of our girls. 2 had practice in Findlay, I had our babies (2 under 2 ?), I realized we ran out of diapers and it was downpouring. I got the big girls to practice and made the run to Meijer. By the time I got in the building I was soaked, my kids were screaming, and my wrist was throbbing from carrying both… two women ran to me, grabbed my bags, helped with the babies, clipped them in the cart, and just kept telling me they were there to help. When they asked how they can help I just sobbed. I was soaking wet, crying in the entrance of Meijer. I missed my husband. It was the day after my daughter’s 2nd birthday & I was sad I couldn’t do more for her, and too exhausted to do it even if I could. I had to get to a night class after the trip & had no idea who could watch my littles for me. I felt stupid for not knowing I ran out of diapers & for dragging my poor darlings through the rain. In that moment, the Meijer Greeter & the customer behind me showed me such compassion without knowing my Story or batting an eye. I’ll never forget them. I hope they see this. ♥️”
