“The staff is excellent and we think the chefs are 5 star chefs hands down!! It is truly the best restaurant in Findlay and the surrounding areas! The portions are extremally huge. I usually get two large meals to take home. We eat with at least 6 people at the Findlay inn every Saturday. We have standing reservations. We all are very pleased with our meals or we wouldn't go back every week. Prices are reasonable compared to even fast food prices. I can't say enough about Findlay Inn! Paula and Carlton Fruth”

“The gather never disappoints. My wife and I have been there a dozen times over the last 3 or 4 years. It's pricey but worth it. They have excellent wait staff, true chefs and excellent mixologists (not bartenders). We went there after trying something different at another Findlay restaurant which we hadn't been to in years. After being seated for 15 min with 4 waitstaff passing us and not even a hello, on a night where the were only 3 other tables being used, we bolted and went to our guaranteed location, The Gathering.”

“Good service and good food - mostly "pub fare," appetizers, etc., but nicely done. I will say that the prices seem a little high. While delicious, $19 for a burger is pretty expensive. I have owned and operated a restaurant, so I completely understand that food costs are astronomical right now. I just personally find it difficult to justify spending that on a pub meal, so while we like this place, it probably won't be on our usual rotation. More likely somewhere we'd bring guests from out of town or something like that.

The service was spot on. Got our food quickly and our server had the perfect amount of check ins, and was prompt with the check (a pet peeve.)

“I ordered Penn Station after work over the phone to quickly pick up before I had to pick my son up from daycare. I drove to the old Tiffin Ave location where I thought I would be pulling up to Penn’s Station and was so sad to see it was no longer there. So, I tried to call and explain that I did not have time to drive to the other location in time to pick my son up before the daycare closed but was unable to get through, as she was probably busy making the food I had ordered. I got home (since my sons daycare and our home is not in Findlay) and received a phone call from Alexis, ( I believe her name was?) a manager from Penn Station. I explained the situation to her and she was so extremely understanding, doing everything she could to keep the food warm for us, going as far as willing to give me a discount due to the inconvenience which was so generous as it was not her fault. I was so impressed with the way she handled the situation, she made sure someone was still able to eat the food so it did not go to waste and handled the situation with so much understanding, kindness, and professionalism!”

“We went here after visiting the Cincy location on a whim. The food is excellent! I really liked the sausage and smoked chicken. Husband liked the ribs as well. The brisket was a bit dry, and we didn't care for the BBQ sauce. But there are plenty of other options so we still really like it. The reason we came back though was the banana pudding. It is sooo good. The service was fast and friendly and they kept the place clean. Will be going back very soon. Pro tip cut the garlic bread in half and use it as a bun for the sausage.”

My fiance (now husband) and I special ordered a cake for ourselves. We met with Evie during wedding planning who helped us create the most "us" cake. It ended up being the best cake either of us has ever had! The team was very responsive in email communication during the planning process, prompt in catering delivery, and ensured all details were confirmed. “FABULOUS food, excellent service. Unfortunately, I left my purse there today , discovered after all got home, 165 miles south, and after closing! After some Google searching, I found owners name, who contacted his GM, Donelle. She contacted me and even offered to drive halfway! Of course, we wouldn’t allow her to do this. We drove back up to her home and retrieved my purse, fully intact. I am so very grateful to both owner and GM . I highly recommend The Toasted Yolk.. and I wish there was another close to my home. “We were here for a post funeral gathering and meal of a member. This was done in a banquet hall separate from the main member area. Everyone here was so nice. The food was good and they served it. I was not familiar with the lodge before and I'm from out of town. They made it a special occasion.”

“I had a burrito half steak, half barbacoa, brown rice, black beans, etc ...it was pretty good and very filling. I've never walked away from here hungry after ordering one item. Prices are reasonable for what you're getting and the sauces are pretty decent. I usually have lime and Cholula and if you're unsure some staff members can usually throw you some tips about the sauces. The restaurant itself isn't anything special but it doesn't need to be. They're not selling you an all encompassing dining experience. They're selling good food at a decent price and quick service.

Parking: This location is a strip mall in Tiffin Ave. so parking is generally adequate. There is parking out front and on the east side of the building. During the busiest times of the day, I'm sure it could be more difficult.”

“I’m visiting from Mississippi on business for the next 6 weeks. My hotel recommended Bellacino’s with raving reviews! I was hesitant at first, but when my husband and I walked into the restaurant the aroma was delightful!!!!! The service was great, the atmosphere is great, clean, and family oriented. Our pizza took about 20 minutes and they bought it to our table. The first bite was delicious and all the ingredients were fresh!! We ordered a large sausage and pepperoni on half, and chicken and banana peppers on the other half with extra sauce (on the entire pizza). We ate the entire pizza and left no crumbs!!!! Haha haha!!! I will definitely be back, maybe tomorrow!!! Smile….”

“I’ve seen it mentioned that the line of cars is long. I can say that there’s a good reason. The service is fast, the food is good, The people at the window are always nice. The fries are always hot! They put them in a cup so they stay hot! Try the pretzel & cheese. The shredded bbq beef n pork are fantastic. They don’t skimp on the serving sizes. We first went about a month ago. We keep making excuses to go back.

Parking: There’s extra parking behind the building in the gravel.”

“I unintentionally committed the cardinal sin of walking in shortly before they closed, but the lady was super friendly about it after I apologized. I ordered Pork LoMein, Spicy Szechuan Beef, and General Tso's Chicken. The General Tso's chicken is by far the best I've had in Findlay and possibly in my lifetime. Don't let the building fool you, it very well may be the best hidden gem in plain view in Findlay. 10 out of 10 new customer earned. I can't wait to get more off the menu.”

“When I reached out to inquire about a small wedding cake 3 months before the wedding date (20 guests ) she was rude and dismissive. While I understand it was “last minute “ with 3 months to spare, buggy whip was filling other seasonal orders of the same size/detail. As such, I’ll never recommend or purchase from this establishment due to the rude treatment.”

“Service was quick and good. Staff was helpful and friendly. This Cold Stone is attached to a Tim Horton's but neither were too busy when we were there. Ice cream was very good and on par with other Cold Stones. The menu prices do not reflect actual cost of items (items actually cost about $1 more). They have signs on the register that announce this and that they are working with corporate to change this but the signs have been there for about a month at this point. Floor was also a little bit sticky and the inside could have used a little bit of cleaning in my opinion.”

“We had a function with almost 600 teachers in Findlay. Angie Briggs from Bigby Coffee and her staff delivered all of the coffee and set ups we needed. It was hot, fresh and delicious. Friendly delivery as well. Stop in to Bigby for a good cup of coffee!”

“I wasn't impressed, the food was mediocre. Everything was just bland no flavor. The front door glass was filthy with handprints at 11:00 in the morning when they opened, The table at our booth had a slimy feeling, and the bench seats were uncomfortable. Just feel there was no cleaning between closing and opening. It's a shame all the employees were working hard.

I came back to add a star to my review. Management addressed my concerns promptly. Everything was being cleaned after every seating, tables, seats and floor. Big shout out to Emma, she was fantastic, polite, helpful and very personal. Unfortunately the booth we had still needs maintenance. The bench seat had a gapping hole in it and the table was loose from the wall. The manager needs to bring maintenance issues to the owner's attention to be addressed. Managers are entrusted with the owners property, treat it as your own. I hope that my next visit is the five star review the owners are looking for.

Parking: Parking spaces are tight, like the parking lot is too small for the seating capacity. So they are trying to squeeze in as many cars”

“We went to the Findlay location to meet friends. We moved out of town 3 years ago and wanted to catch up. I cannot remember the server’s name, but she was amazing! Our party of 15 turned into 25 and she never skipped a beat or made us feel like a hassle. As a previous bartender and server I understand the stress we put her through. Not to forget the kitchen! Our food was FAST and hot!! Thank you Beer Barrel and staff!!”

“I'd like to suggest to the hostesses that they ask people if they would like a booth or table, especially when the people are larger body types. It is less embarrassing than tskungvthem to a booth and them having to ask for a table!
We did enjoy our free dessert in our of our anniversary, though! Very nice touch there!

“This is my family's favorite all you can eat pizza place. They have many options of pizza already to be picked from. If you to not see what you like you can also request a specialty pizza and they will have it made in 10 minutes and brought to your table. Our favorite specialty pizzas are, Baked Potato Pizza, BLT Pizza, Mac n Cheese Pizza and White pizza! When you are all pizza'd out, you can choose from 4 different kinds of dessert pizza. The place is phenomenal and the best all you can eat pizza restaurant!”

I paid with a $20 and change and should have received &15 back, but I got distracted and drove off without my change. The drive thru staff immediately took that money to the manager and stated they didn’t think it was intended as a tip and set it aside. When I stopped in today they had it in an envelope in the office waiting for me! This team deserves praised for their honesty and AMAZING service! I definitely recommend stopping in and supporting this great store and team!”

“My wife and I went to Cracker Barrel tonight. The food was great and service was good. But one thing I didn't like as I went up to cash out, I asked the lady at the register. Do you have military discount? She said, no, and then I ask her. Do you have AARP discount? She said no. I said, why is that? She replied that we don't do that. Because if we gave military or AARP discount we couldn't keep our prices low for the restaurant. Then I ask her, so you are telling me the prices never went up in 10 years at cracker barrel she continued to say, that's why we do not give military discounts or AARP discount because it costs us money if they gave discounts to you. They would have to raise the prices. So Veterans are costing you money if they give us a discount. We'll I guess won't be going back. If Veterans I suggest you do the same and don't go there to eat. Spend your money where people appreciate military veterans.”

“I got the bbq, bacon cheddar burger I have to say it was one of the best burgers I've had. They focused on the flavor of the burger not just the toppings. I wish there was one closer to home. I will be back if we know one is around and area of travel.”
