“Delicious spot in a little old town. We stopped for lunch and had the roast beef sandwich and Fort 88 burger with bacon. The thickest slab of bacon I’ve ever seen in a burger. The food is all locally sourced and very well made. The waitress was friendly and attentive. Great spot!”

“Beca House Coffe is a cute little spot. It has tables and chairs for walk-in and sit guests and a drive-thru for those on the go and a large parking area with wide doors. Service is fast and friendly, and the flavor is amazing. There is a decent variety of drinks muffins bagels and cookies, even a kids drink menu. They also sell custom Beca House Merch. Great stop great coffee exactly the quick little pick me up you need on the go.”

“This was a first time eating here for my Husband and I. Our server Taylor was phenomenal. She never skipped a beat while waiting on our table and a very large party that was seated in a side room. My husband and I never had to remind her of our request or wait on drinks. Our steaks were cooked as ordered and portions sized for the cost of our meal. My husband and I had a great experience at Boone's Steer Barn.”

“Over Priced for simple food. The Band on Thursday was way to loud could not even enjoy talking to date. The food was fine but I can go to my local legion and get better food for half the price. I don't see me going back when there are other places to try in the area.”

“Meal (****): After a long day of being sweaty in a humid field, you need some nourishment that will stick to your ribs. I figured the pizza and subs were good - and I already had that earlier in the week. This guy chose the garlic cheese bread sticks and the hot wings. The breadsticks were your basic stick, similar to the ones found at Olive Garden, except these are gingerly tucked under a blanket of cheese (mozzarella or provolone), and they are infused with the tastiest garlic salt seasoning. The hot wings are comparable to BW3 or Rooster's, and they have a "liquid sauce." I was confused about this feature, but it was explained to me that some wings come with a flavored breading. I think this was a great move! Ambiance (****): When you pull into the downtown parking, you notice that the pace of the city is a bit slower than what some of the city slickers are used to. It might seem empty at first, but there are people coming and going, if you wait long enough. The decor and "vibe" take me back to the pizza place heyday - I can't really explain this with words. It's a feeling... But here goes: baseball on the radio, oscillating fan in August, cold pop, hot pizza. Service (*****): The people providing service were very polite, funny, and seem to genuinely care about all of the patrons, stranger and friend alike. I highly suggest that you big city slickers take a little break and slow down here for a bit. Overall, I gave it a 4 because as they said themselves, there is always room for improvement.”

“First time back in the Boxcar in 11 years. Wanted a green beer for St Patty's Day, and they came through with some. Fair prices for drafts as well. $2.25 for 16oz, and $2.50 for 22oz. Go with the 22oz, comes in a ice cold tall mug. This place has changed so much over the years. I remember going in when you had to use the short stick to shoot pool. Great crowd, friendly and fun people.”

“We meet half way with two college gal pals several times a year. We love the variety of the menu and am always surprised how few people are there. It's one of the best Mexican restaurants any of us have eaten. This past visit three of us had the shrimp enchiladas but we all changed to flour tortillas and one of us had rice and the other two had beans. It was delicious! Came with queso over the three enchiladas, rice or beans and a guacamole salad. Definitely a lot of food but so good! Our fourth member is a vegetarian and never has a problem with an order and has several to choose from. Definitely recommend”

Lots of chopped broccoli, snowpeas, onions, carrots. The sweet n sour sauce was different but ok. I needed more soy sauce. 1 packet doesn't cover a quart sized dish.”

“Dec. 2023Just ok. Hate the chairs they snag your clothes. Don't care for the sidewinders (their take on fries.) Burgers are good. Mac n cheese with chicken bites was good. The salads as a meal are huge and very good.Service was good.Parking: Street parking only which is shared with 3 soon to be 4 other restaurants. Good luck getting anything close to the door.”

“It used to be a happening place, standing room only, but the owner has let the place go. A couple of pool tables and electric dartboard machines, and if the place gets more than a dozen people, they might turn on the main dance floor music instead of the jukebox. What a shame. The place has so much potential.”

Crispy on the bottom, soft texture in the middle.The sauce is tangy yet sweet, an impossible combination to pull off in a pizza sauce!We ordered our medium 8-slice deep dish pizza topped with pepperoni, bacon, onion, and pineapple. It was superb! After devouring my first slice, I asked my wife if she thought it was too late to order a large!This pizza is so good that we're considering a two-hour road trip to come back again!”

“Came in, wanted to place an order to pick up in 2 hours. I thought I was being helpful by ordering ahead and giving them plenty of time to complete my order. The 2 employees appeared to be put out that I requested help. There was only one customer there besides me. They told me I would need to go online to order. I left, disappointed that there was NO customer service. I drove across town and got immediate, courteous service/assistance from that store.”

Family owned and pretty good at recommending tastes for customers if you're looking for something in particular! Personally I love the Spicy Singapore Noodles.Parking: It's in a strip mall next to Discount Drug Mart so parking is not a problem!”
