Boosalis Baking and Cafe

I love this bakery. Am relieved I don't live closer, as would likely go too often. Not many places you can buy Kouign Amann. Yum.

Have been to Boosalis Bakery for many years to purchase & enjoy my favorite scone Blueberry. Yesterday was my second time there since it changed ownership. I ordered Blueberry scones. They changed the recipe & used less expensive ingredients. They're nowhere near as good as they used to be. They probably changed the butter because there was no taste to them other than an occasional blueberry taste. Truly disappointed.

Stopped by for lunch with my partner. We ordered two sandwiches - ham and havarti & cranberry turkey. They were both delicious!! Will come back to sample their pastries.

Best croissant in the world. You have to try a kouign amann.

This is my number one recommendation for people when they come to Dayton. I love the kougin amann pastry and monkey bread. 10/10 🔥

Absolutely delicious. Measures up to very high end bakeries. A diamond in the rough. The flavors in the various pasteries were delightful.

I was so sad moving to Dayton, because the pastry shops were so bad that grocery stores (as pedestrian as they are) were better than dedicated bakers.

The flavors, the textures, the plesant service, and oh yeah, the fair prices were amazing.

My favorites Morning Roll and Almond crossant... neither were hum drum. Sweet enough without losing teeth, flavorful from thier intended flavor to the dough that often barely supports, but tastefully holds its own in the taste world.

If I closed my eyes, you could EASILY pluck me out of Dayton to a lovely place... so, yes, I'll be back.

Dave was trained in France as a pastry chef, and he certainly learned the trade well 😀 ! The breads, pastry, and cookies are excellent . Easy to find in shopping center at corner of Alex Bell and Far Hills.

I love to stop by at Boosalis for a treat for my family, friends, or me, lol. The selection of the pastries, cookies, and everything in the menu is fresh.
My favorite is the ham and cheese croissant.

Unfortunately the first time I came they where closed due to a mix up on changing hours on too good to good. The owners were very professional with they're response.

I finally got a chance to try them a couple days ago. Oh my goodness, everything is heavenly! I came back today because I was absolutely craving it again. The croissants are fluffy with layers of goodness, the danishes are the same with delicious fillings, the cinnamon roles, and a few other pastrys I'm honestly not sure what they where. Either way, everything is delectable!

We love this bakery. Never disappoints!

Ordered door dash very early from here. We accidentally selected an odd option for one of our meals we didn’t intend to. Restaurant took the time to call us to confirm if it was right or not. Awesome service and great food !
