“Recently had dinner with friends at Cornerstone we were greeted by a smiley and cheerful young lady named Riley and seated quickly. The waitress Taylor answered all the questions asked of her. I had the sirloin med-well and it was just that a dinge of red in the center, tender seasoned well no steak sauce required. I will be back!”

“I had a longer than normal wait for the cookies using Curbside Service while everyone else seemed to be getting their cookies inside 🤷 was told there was a wait on cookies to come out of oven but saying that the first cookie I tried was very doughy and seemed underdone which was the Funnel Cake Cookie. I do not like this cookie as there is no funnel cake flavor just doughy with powdered sugar on top. 😞”

“My sons and his wife took myself and my wife out for dinner. The service was excellent, prices were fairly priced. The food was well prepared and wort the price. But here is what was special. My daughter in law is Korean and my son spent years over there. When my daughter tasted here food, I have never seen her eyes light up with such excitement at finding food that took her home. It was a wonderful experience and we will be back!”

“My choice for Mother’s Day was to go to the Centerville location today for dessert. There were only two young workers there and a huge crowd. These two were fantastic! I did not get their names but it was whoever was working around 5:30pm. They gave us moms wonderful and kind service. And I’m sure they have their own mammas at home that they could have been with instead of working. So thank you to them both!”

“Our Sunday School class met at Doubledays for lunch on 2/21/24 for our monthly luncheon and to celebrate a members 93rd birthday. There were 29 of us and we were accommodated so nicely. Patrick waited on us and he did an absolute wonderful job. Our food was delivered timely and it was so great. Thank you Patrick and staff for a job well done.”

“Been once b4 in Findlay, Ohio bout 5 yrs ago wasnt bad then. Just found out bout this location just south of Beavercreek. Service was with a smile and VERY attentive. Bout a 20 minute wait on a Saturday night around 6 pm. Appetizer and food came very quick after ordering. Neither me or my wife had to ask once for refills...Strawberry tea with Real strawberries settled in the bottom of my glass(see picture). Flakey croissant buttered down topped with icing dripped over it is the dinner roll of choice here. Sweet tangy BBQ slathered down a full rack of ribs, generous sides of broccoli cheddar casserole, off the cob buttered corn, and fries. Needless to say, we were glad we found this spot alot closer to home than findlay and have guarnteed future plans of returning.... comfort food at a comfortable price . All you see in pics for under $65 before tip. Enjoy......”

The server told us this was because they forgot to turn it on. PLEASE, keep it off. It was wonderful. I go to a restaurant to enjoy food and conversation, not to listen to a concert.”

“I always enjoy coming here for the clam chowder and carrot cake. Normally, the service and food is very good. Today was an off day since they seemed understaffed and ran out of carrot cake. (Our server did a good job but it seemed like only she and another person were dealing with customers. It was a Sunday afternoon and we had a very large party (about 17 people)).”

We had 52 family members including many children under 12 and there was plenty of space to mingle and even for the kids to play together. The food and service were spot on and Gregory was very helpful and accommodating with the menu selections and a few food allergies. “So, I've had my fair share of hole in the wall type takeout Chinese. My husband and I were wanting some Chinese takeout after a long stressful day, but we were hesitant to order from our usual places because their quality has taken a nosedive. On a whim, I tried this restaurant for the first time. I will be back.
Most of these places taste the same, and I imagine they use ready made products that can be prepared fast. That being said, I was not expecting the hot and sour soup. This was not a premade preparation with the usual gelatinous brown gravy, it was lighter and homemade. Everything tasted fresh and I could actually taste each ingredient, such as the bamboo shoots and the tofu.
The crab rangoons were a bit sweet but again I could taste the ingredients including the chives. My husband and I both enjoyed the pan fried pot stickers. My husband got singapore noodles while I got cashew chicken. Both were good and we enjoyed the leftovers for dinner the next day.
I left 5 stars for service as everyone was friendly and helpful. I was a walk in near closing time and my order was put together quickly.
I left five stars for the atmosphere because that is how I felt after visiting. When I came in, the mom was cleaning the lobby floor, the school-age daughter was sitting in the corner eating a slice of watermelon and quietly entertaining herself. The two men behind the counter helped me with making my order. I come from a restaurant management background and no red flags for me as far as cleanliness or food safety. Instead of packing your bag full of condiment packets, napkins, and plastic cutlery that you may or may not need, they had a station set up for you to pack those needs yourself, which is very efficient and economical. This place is plain jane with excellent food, which I much rather have than modern aesthetics and lousy food. I felt very happy to support this small business and look forward to trying their other dishes.”

“Last Friday I ordered carry out for myself, daughter, and mom (who is in a rehab center on Clyo). I went to pick it up but left my lights on and had to get a jump. I called and Bobbi was gracious enough to remake the order so the food would be fresh and hot. There was a lot going on that day and Bobbi’s kindness was a huge boost on a bat day. I appreciate her kindness so much!!”
