“This ranks in the top tier of pizzas I have had, and I feel like the only think keeping me from giving it a 5 (I wish I could do 4.9) is the hot honey. I ordered the angry beekeepers w/extra hot honey, and the hot honey is too subtle to taste. I really wanted that sweet heat to come through, but it was invisible to the taste even ordering extra. That being said, the fresh Mozz, salami, and basil with the wood fire crust made for a sublime pizza experience. We're over the road, and we hunt for indie pizza shops, and this easily falls in the top 5 (not counting Chicago style pizzas in the ranking. That's a pizza to itself). The server at carry out was very pleasant, and checked the pizza before giving it to me, and that was a nice extra touch. Overall, Old Scratch is no joke. Experts in the pizza game. Among a highly competitive market, they stand above most. I can't wait to eat here again.“

“What can I not say about this place. After growing up in Centerville, I now live in Columbus. I almost always go to Marion’s when I am in town and get a pizza to go. Crust and toppings are still the same as they were 30 years ago. This particular location was closest to my home, and I still have great memories of playing The Simpsons and Street Fighter while waiting for the pizza to come. Just had some this past week and it was still great. Still can’t find anything in Columbus that comes close.“

I get my delivery orders hot fresh and delivered with purpose and I like that so I tip well because the pizza guy runs around and puts a lot of wear and tear to get me my pizza and I appreciate that so I try to show them I appreciation through sufficient and appreciative tips cuz he comes rain or shine snow or sleet and I can stay at home nice and warm while he risks his life delivering in adverse conditions“

“Our Sunday School class met at Doubledays for lunch on 2/21/24 for our monthly luncheon and to celebrate a members 93rd birthday. There were 29 of us and we were accommodated so nicely. “Went to La’Rosas Centerville Alex Bell tonight for a Pizza Party for 50+ for my son’s 8th Birthday Party. First of all the restaurant is SPOTLESS CLEAN & has a Great Atmosphere! The party room was perfect! The Food was hot & ready at time we asked for! Plenty of help deciding on most cost effective strategy for food order as we were paying the whole bill. “I came in tonight to use the party room and ordered a chicken & pineapple calzone. I have to say… it was the best I’d ever had. Anywhere. And I’ve had a few! I hope the management reads this, as all the guys working were very friendly. The restaurant was extremely clean and the service was fast!“

“Our intro to this location was less than inviting as we accidentally went up the steps to the to go pickup door. The steps were very unkempt. Also, we counted only seven or eight cars in the parking lot at 7:00 p.m. on a Friday night and it made us wonder if the place was closed.
We were redirected to the correct desk and spotted a number of folks at large tables and a few people at the bar, our destination. whew, looking ok inside.
Bartender Steve was awesome and made a killer martini for RRR and a glass of red for me which we enjoyed along with the complimentary bread.
Insalata della Casa for both of us and we split the Pasta Bravo.. It isn't my favorite but it's ok and the chicken is nicely cooked. RRR was very happy with it.
