“Upon entering, the ambiance struck me with its spacious yet serene vibe. Initially quiet, the restaurant soon filled with the comforting hum of locals, giving an authentic dining-in-their-country feel. The service staff, speaking with their native accents, added a delightful touch, seamlessly blending hospitality with cultural charm.Portions here are generous, befitting the Middle Eastern culinary tradition. Lamb, a staple in this cuisine, shines brightly on the menu. I highly recommend indulging in their signature lamb chops, a personal favorite. Grilled to perfection, they boast tenderness and juiciness, accompanied by roasted tomatoes and a medley of vibrant green vegetables, adding depth and balance to each bite. For a unique coffee experience, Turkey's renowned coffee culture awaits. Don't miss the opportunity to savor their specialty coffee, offering a delightful departure from the ordinary. It's a fantastic choice for those seeking a memorable coffee journey.Overall, this dining experience promises a savory exploration of Middle Eastern flavors, highlighted by exceptional lamb dishes and a captivating coffee affair, making it a must-visit for food enthusiasts seeking culinary authenticity and distinction.“
“Traffic disappoints, weather disappoints, Mondays disappoint, plans disappoint, prices disappoint, women disappoint, friends disappoint, family disappoints, love disappoints, but with each savory bite, Joe's Pizza is a reliable escape from life's letdowns.“
“Chef Zay was super kind and so helpful. Gave great recommendations and was completely open to any future ideas for flavors. 10/10 I will be going back there and recommend it to anyone else too.Kid-friendliness: Chef zay was interactive with my kids, talking to them when they were excited about how good the food is, and talking about what flavor cookies were their favorite.“
“We had to change our diet recently due to a health issue so we ordered the veggie pizza with non-dairy cheese. Honestly my expectations were low because for me, a pizza wasn't pizza without meat. To my surprise it may have been the best pizza I've ever tasted. Not only was the pizza amazing but the salad/dressing was top notch as well. Our server did a fantastic job too. We live a few hours away from Dewey's but we will be back!“
“I'm just going to say this they have the best pizza and sandwiches I've ever had for it I've been going here sense I was a kid and I'll always go here everyone is friendly nice sweet and respectful they really make you feel at home keep doing what you are doing and I'll keep “
“Found them on DoorDash. When I tell you this was the BEST pizza I’ve had in a long time!! I’ve traveled all over and this was my first experience with a sweet butter crust and it was delicious. I typically have to get cheese pizza to avoid pork meat options but it was soooo nice to be able to eat a pizza loaded with meat and not feel guilty!! Fantastic pizza!! You can tell they use QUALITY ingredients. My new spot.“
“I randomly found this place on Google and I wasn't really sure how good it would be. Read the reviews and gave it a try. Definitely was worth it. I ordered a large pizza with just pepperoni and extra cheese and a Italian sub. Everything was so good. Definitely was worth the shot. Will be a returning customer ???“
“We love flying pizza! Last night my daughter and I were stranded downtown after ballet with a dead car battery. One of the brothers were locking up, getting ready to leave, when he saw us outside after closing. He invited us in to buy pizza, even after everything was cleaned up. That is customer service like you literally don't see anymore. That is the difference between family owned and corporations! ♡“
“I love this place! Shout out to the bartender Tim he's great and helped out my group all night. I wish there was more seating here on a rainy night because place was packed during the Dayton game, but we had a great time anyways. The options for drinks are great and my friends got lots of fun mixed drinks from the bartender when asking for a surprise. They were very tasty, and so was the food! Really enjoyed the tater tots!Parking: lots of available parking that wraps around the buildingKid-friendliness: kid friendly mom and pop establishment, but i would say more Sunday through Thursday all day and Friday and Saturday anytime but evening and nighttime because it tends to draw an older and more college aged crowd“
“Absolutely excellent food! The server did let us know they were out of bread when we first sat down at 8:00 p.m. and that was a bummer, but other than that, everything was 100% great. My wife and I truly enjoyed it and this was just one week after another place came highly suggested to us, and the other place was absolutely terrible.Since the same group referred this place, we went in with trepidation worried it would be mediocre.Mama DiSalvo's is the only other place we happen to like in Dayton and most of the rest are a let down.We ordered three different dishes including their honey hot pizza along with a bourbon cocktail and Tiramisu for dessert and everything was truly excellent. We'll be back soon!“
“Best pizza in Dayton! Awesome toppings, not too heavy on the tomato sauce. Great natural seasonings. Crust is hard, just right! Love the cheese, good mix of flavor. Mushroom and sausage is my favorite combination. Everyone always friendly.“
“Amazing old style bar in the heart Oregon district. I've been there a couple time in the last 6 months and really enjoyed myself everytime. The hot Hawaiian, BLT, and Reuben pizzas are especially good. They always have good music playing when I go, and the live bands are even better. The staff is always friendly and the owners, Laura and Brandon love providing a great experience to people in DaytonVegetarian options: Their cheese pizza is really good and they offer plenty of vegetable additions for a reasonable priceWheelchair accessibility: The main door has stairs and no rampThey do have a door to the "dining room"/performance area that is street level, but it needs to be opened from the inside“
“As always the food was great. Unfortunately the service was very poor, something we were not used to here. Only two servers on Thursday night. Had to be persistent on getting some sort of discount for the slow service. Not sure if we will be back!“
“My friend was suppose to get pepperoni to go after she got home it was cheese. I told her to call but she lost her receipt. She was also supposed to get pepperoni on inside dining but it was only cheese. Other than that the pizza was great 5 rating.“
“I'd just like to say to the few negative reviews on here that you can all go forget yourselves. I grew up on Marion's. When my Dad took me to the original Marion's in 1967 it was a mind blowing experience for a 5 year old. The smells alone. Omg. I get it, the food scene has changed immensely since then so people don't get it. They don't understand how special and exciting it was to go there. And in the summer they had TV stars coming in that were doing summer stock with the Kenley players at Memorial Hall. Omg Bobby Sherman! Are you kidding me? So don't review Marion's without knowing it's special place with Daytonians. Thems fighting words! And wanted to add that the pizza is still excellent and my favorite in Dayton. Even the one slice dude did a review and was surprised how good it was. I think he said something like this style of pizza is really growing on me.“
“The best pizza around… There’s no doubt. I was surprised that it’s about $20 for a ton of toppings on a large. And my wife and I can never eat an entire large. Always have at least 3 pieces left. So it’s it’s like 3 meals for $20 and those meals are delicious. Thanks Jets Pizza! You rock ??“
“I used to go there years ago, and just went back today. It has been, and is still great. First, the pizza was hot and delicious. What was best is the people were friendly. My order wasn’t ready, and they updated me frequently until it was done. When it was, they handed it to me with a smile. That is so rare post-COVID, and refreshing. I highly recommend.“
“Ordered carry out for dinner tonight and the veggie pizza was the best I've ever had. The ratio of the toppings, cheese, and sauce was perfect and the crust was amazing as well (not too thick or thin). The cannolis were amazing as well! Highly recommend giving So Pizza a try. Will be back.“
“I don't write reviews...but this place deserves one. Been going here for years! They know my order by heart.....and it's always wonderful!!! Everything we have ever tried is great...The Rhonda salad is our favorite. (Add pepperoni to it...u will see why) We love their pizza....best onion rings and chicken fingers this side of the Mississippi. The best part- is the people who work there. They work hard and always go above and beyond. Don't really get that anywhere...but u sure do here. Thank yall for being so kind to us through the years and always making our food top notch! ? ??“
“Visiting my hometown and Joe's on Airway is closed on Mondays ☹️. Overall, the pizza was very good, but not 5 star good. Not sure their "sausage" is even sausage...seems to me like nothing more than ground pork. Hence the four stars.“
“Best pizza in Dayton and I love eating there. Feels old school but certainly not old. Do yourself a favor and get pepperoni, sausage, and extra cheese.Kid-friendliness: You seat yourself and all of the tables are made for large groups. There is an arcade as well.“
“Placed online order for pickup. When picking up meals advised cashier that I had placed an online orderShe was confused on where the order was. When she finally found it she came to counter with meals scratching her arm pit. Nasty.......“
“D’ior’s is the new place to go and bring a friend to enjoy good old music, delicious food, drinks and most of all excellent customer service. Tonya is so sweet and a humble lady. Thanks Sister Kim Lewis for invited us to join you at Dior’s.“
“I only got a delivery. when I placed the order the person (I think the mgr) was very kind and cheerful. Not like a lot of Pizza places where the just argue. I preferred when they had the entire bldg & lot. But if the atmosphere & food is good then the established lend them some dedicated .“
“We had originally set out to have dinner at Godfather's Pizza but after looking at thier prices for a large pizza we decided to order from somewhere else. I don't know why I was surprised to see that Godfathers raised their prices again. Anyway, I have been wanting to try Classic Pizza for a while and I finally had that opportunity a few days ago. They definitely lived up to the hype. We ordered a large deluxe pizza with garlic bread on the side. It was amazing and guess what else, it was affordable! The staff was also very helpful and pleasant to talk too.“
“Had delivery. Pizza delicious driver so nice prompt politeKid-friendliness: Handmade pan pizza awesome. Dominos corner of Irving st. and wilmington Ave Kettering, Ohio Eric or Erica forgot name of the one made this. Driver Kevin cute as can be polite friendly. Pizza is The funk‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️“
“Indulge in the delectable dishes at Wheat Penny Oven and Bar, where every bite is a delight. Amidst the savory aromas and bustling ambiance, let's keep an eye out for Mitchell Shields, a 17-year-old who went missing on March 13th. If you have any information, please visit the AmigosForKids website. Together, we can bring Mitchell back home safely. I believe he is waiting to be found and that with your help, he will be.“
“I used this Gionino's location for a company catered luncheon.Everything was fantastic! The service I received from placing the order, the staff at pick up, and the food the day of--Superb! I would highly recommend using them for any catered event. The wings--perfection. The food was hot and the presentation was beautiful. This company knows how to do it the right way. 10 out of 10.“
“Pizza bandit is a great local dive place. I’ve only been there a couple times but really enjoyed the feel. Kind of reminded me of a dive. You might find in Seattle. The pizza is really good too. You can get cupped pepperoni as well as large pepperoni, which I dig. Honestly, I think it could be a little greasier, so if you’re afraid of over greasy pizza-soup type places, you do not have to worry about that here. They deliver and a friend and I had a pizza sent to the Century bar a couple weeks ago. Makes drinks go down so good.“
“We had the best evening! We started our evening with Renee who was so wonderful! Our food (mushroom and Swiss burger and wings) were so delicious! We were there for change of shift and had the pleasure of having a new employee, Tammy, who was great! Fantastic all the way around! It’s been a while since we have been in (for no other reason than life) and it was great to be back. We can’t wait to return. Thank you for such a nice evening, and for keeping the music volume tolerable (didn’t have to ask, that’s just how it was and we really appreciated that also).“
“Went in on a Thursday night before 10 for a few drinks, while in town visiting family. The bartender/ server was so nice and accommodating. The drinks were the right price and the Philly cheese steak fries and fried okra was pretty good. The atmosphere was very chill and laid back. I will definitely be back to visit next time I'm in town!Parking: There was a small parking lot to the bar as well as street parking in the area.“
“First time trying this place and we were pleasantly surprised. It's kind of hidden away and the exterior doesn't look like much but the pizza was great. We had the Meats pizza and the Garlic Parm Chicken. The toppings were good but it was the crust that I really liked. Not too thick and a little crispy on the bottom and edges. We will visit again!“
“We drive by Wizard of Za almost everyday. I noticed the pizza by the slice sign. This morning I told my youngest son we were going to head over there after school and get a slice since it was birthday the day before. He walked there and I met him outside. We both ordered a slice of the Vodka sauce pizza Sicilian style. It was great. I am a NYer so I don't eat pizza crusts but I did so today. We will definitely make it a tradition to eat there together once a week. Thanks Wizard of Za!“
“Maryann is a terrific employee! She went above and beyond to make sure I had what I needed and at the end of our visit she sat a bag of complimentary breadsticks down on our table. She also walked by and asked if we needed anything else. The kitchen staff also rocked our food… It was delivered quickly and hot just the way I like it.I will be back and appreciate the staff here so much!Dietary restrictions: GF options as wellKid-friendliness: Great place to bring the kids! Kids meals are only 3.99 as well!“
“This location is small compared to the other locations they have, but the food is always good. One of my pizzas were made wrong so they made a new one free of charge and allowed us to keep the one that was wrong. I moved from Ohio so I make sure to stop in every time I come home to visit!“
“Been coming here for a few years now and they hardly ever disappoint. Food is always hot and they will cook your food based on your specifications at least they try to. Depending on what you get the prices are reasonable 10-20 dollars for a full meal that won't have you hungry afterwards.“
“Sub House is always a good option. This one has a full service bar, unlike the location in Englewood.Food is always good, personal preference is the "House 2" pizza.Very nice local sports bar atmosphere. Plenty of TVs and daily specials make this a frequent stop.Kid-friendliness: Good kids menu selectionMy kids love the Brownies!“
“For our family, Cassanos is more than just a pizza place; it’s a tradition. No matter when we came back to Dayton to visit family, our first stop was always Cassano’s. It’s been a staple in our family’s lives for as long as I can remember.Recently, we tried the new location on Brown Street in downtown Dayton, and it did not disappoint! The place is sparkling clean, with a modern vibe that still feels warm and inviting. The staff was absolutely fantastic – friendly, helpful, and genuinely enthusiastic about the food. But let’s talk about the real star of the show: the pizza! It was out of this world! The crust was perfectly crispy, the sauce had the perfect blend of tang and sweetness, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. Every bite was pure comfort and satisfaction.Cassano’s Pizza is more than just a pizza joint; it’s a taste of home for our family. The new location on Brown Street is a fantastic addition, and I can’t wait to make more memories there with my loved ones. If you’re looking for delicious pizza, a welcoming atmosphere, and a touch of nostalgia, look no further than Cassano’s. You won’t be disappointed!“
“It's been years since I have had Godfather's Pizza. It was good and made very well, but it just didn't have the same taste I remember. The servers and kitchen were amazing and did a great job. ?Parking: This is in a good size shopping center. There is a lot of well lit parking available.“
“On our way back to Michigan, we stopped here for a quick lunch. The pizza order was customized on the app and the pizza was exactly the same as ordered. Tasty and hot, it was a pleasure to have it during our drive especially for our two toddlers. Great work, team!Definitely recommend this location for great tasting pizza and even greater customer service!“
“The best pizza there is and I'm sure it's because Sam made it. She's an absolute amazing pizza maker must try out if you have not. This Little pizza spot inside of the marathon gas station is so clean. I can't believe it because most pizza's shops inside gas stations are nasty“
“Really good pizza! I will def be here again when they have live music. The staff struggled with our custom pizza order a bit, but it came out just how we wanted. We did wait a while, overall not too bad. If you aren't super hungry, a medium pizza is a good amount for two people. Seems like a good spot for the summer. The beer menu is really hard to read, though! I recommend a change because the font and color are just a lot.Parking: Free parking lot, about medium in size. Enough parking for an average night, but might not be enough for a Friday or Saturday.“
“We have been here several times and it is possibly the best place to spend an afternoon in Dayton. Fantastic beer on tap. Great shareables, especially the totchos. Love the patio ambiance with plenty of seating, games like cornhole and giant jenga. Perfect location right next to the ballpark. Sunday brunch is also delicious. Great service. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.“
“The place had a old-fashioned vibe. I like the open kitchen concept where you can see a long kitchen under bright light. The guy taking my order was slightly awkward, but I mean it was pretty late so it was slowing down quite a bit. Cheesesteak sandwich and onion rings were both hot and tasty. I will give it a 5*.“
“We ordered a pizza, and it was a typical bar pizza. There is nothing special about it, it was good, decent, and hot. The service was good and the atmosphere was good. The restaurant was very clean, and the patrons were pleasant. They have plenty of televisions and a jukebox.“
“We go a few times a month and aren't ever let down. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food is consistently delicious. We stray to nearby restaurants every once in a while but always come back. It's a nice quiet place to eat and catch up. The breadsticks will always bring us back.“
“Had the new stuff crust with pepperoni inside! Can’t say if I’ve had a better pizza than this. Did arrive just a little late but well worth the wait. The Mrs had some bread sticks and she said they were delicious! I called the Manager tonight and thanked them. Will order from then again and again! Keep up the great work!Christopher Ford9796 Dinwiddie Ct.Centerville, Ohio 45458“
“Christmas eve was a disaster I called in they said it'll be a 45 minute wait I waited 45 minutes I went up to the store I had to wait an additional hour and they still didn't have my pizza done that was the first time I ever experienced anything like that!“
“The parking lot is narrow with limited parking spaces due to delivery drivers so it may be best to just order delivery but the food is good. Today I ordered a build your own using the 50% off regular price menu items coupon (online only). The pizza looks great and it tasted delicious. Spinning is winning !!!“
“Old Scratch Pizza & Beer has great wood fired pizza, salads, soda, and beer. I was torn between the mushroom pizza and the Angry Beekeeper, I went with the Angry Beekeeper after I was told it's the most popular and I'm glad I did. The pizza has a hint of spice that's balanced by the sweetness of the honey. Tasty! The pizzas come in two sizes for lunch--9 inch or 12 1/2 inch. I went with the smaller size and it was perfect. Thank you--I'll be back.Vegetarian options: Mushroom, Margarita PizzaParking: Free parking is at the front of the building and across the street“
