“This was our first visit and we were greeted as soon as we came in. Restaurant was not that busy but we did hear a lot of take out orders being called in. It was a quiet and older restaurant but comfortable. I ordered the chef salad and it was excellent! Fresh lettuce, veggies and meat. Came with texas toast. Large salad too. My friend orded the pancakes with strawberries. Pancakes were good but strawberries were very soggy and bitter. She had to scrape them off the pancakes. Overall, it was a good experience. Will be back but not order fresh fruit again.“

“Ok so we’ve dined at Old Scratch Troy location about 6 times since it’s opened. Waited a bit to give them time to really get in their groove. While I do recommend the place. Pizza is good, staff is nice (especially Amanda at the bar) and shareables are tasty. That said I would like to see the food’s taste be a little more consistent. My favorite dish is the fire roasted cauliflower but sadly it hasn’t been prepared the same way twice with the last two times it was barely seasoned at all once it was almost raw. Hopefully as training continues they will fix that issue.“

“Hate that they setup the tables to fit eight people around a table that would only fit six normal sized people. Yes, can move chairs out of the way, and we did.
The food, excellent. One thing that was suggested to me was to request the "old" oven. Don't know what the difference is in the physical oven, but omg, this one was perfect. Crust was crispy and delicious. The toppings have always been top notch. The crust was not bad, but glad I know this trick because it makes it even better. No wonder Marion's is consistently voted best pizza in Dayton!!“

Parking: There is not any parking directly in front of the building because of its location in the Oregon District. There is plenty of parking in the rear of the buildings north of Oregon Express.“

“Pizza bandit is a great local dive place. I’ve only been there a couple times but really enjoyed the feel. Kind of reminded me of a dive. You might find in Seattle. The pizza is really good too. You can get cupped pepperoni as well as large pepperoni, which I dig. Honestly, I think it could be a little greasier, so if you’re afraid of over greasy pizza-soup type places, you do not have to worry about that here. They deliver and a friend and I had a pizza sent to the Century bar a couple weeks ago. Makes drinks go down so good.“

“O'Riley's is a great place. A friend and I stopped in when I was passing through the area. I had the reuben and it was excellent. The bartender recommended it, saying that people really, really like it. Agreed! A variety of beer on tap and in cans, including locals. I strongly recommend the fried banana peppers - they were incredible. Friendly service and a fun bar atmosphere. I wish I lived in the area so I could go back!“
