“Great location for a nice night out. Service (Alisha) was phenomenal and the scallops were super good. Nice wine selection and unique menu made the night a win. Bonus: steps away from Too Social (axe throwing) and around the corner from the Century Bar.“

“45+ min wait for 3 plates. 4th plate was ordered after the first 3 were placed and came out first which indicates the 4th order was submitted by itself rather than combined with the first 3. Kitchen was not at capacity or extremely busy. Assistant Manager falsely claimed to be the Manager and was unwilling to offer any compensation for the wait. A.M stated 45min is standard wait and insinuated I was trying to get a discount on bar tab because I waited until the bill came out. A.M falsely claimed I was the only table that had complained about the wait. Waitress clearly indicated a table near me also complained and received a free appetizer as I was requesting to speak to the manager. The unwillingness to make minor compensations or take accountability is the reason another dollar will never be spent again at T.P. Waitress was tipped fairly at 20%.“

I’m pretty mad because their chicken wings ruined the level of good I’m accustomed to. Their dry rub chicken wing is the best I’ve ever had. If you haven’t been there. “My favorite family friendly place. Bock excels at creating a space where we gather as family, friends, soccer teams, etc with their large open room, but also there's a game room my kids love, foosball, and shuffle board. And that's not even getting to the food and drinks. My favorite snacks include the German nachos, reuben dip, and pretzels. The drinks are always on point- fresh and delicious. we always love the lemon blueberry with with a slice of lemon and the Negligent IPA. They are staffed by some of the greatest people. A family favorite for sure.“

“This is my 90 year old mother in laws favorite, so we thought we’d give it a try! Friendly service and a great meal at The Chop House in Dayton. We started off with an appetizer of spinach queso, it was full of flavor and the chips were light with just the right amount of salt. The grouper special was incredible and paired well with the rice pilaf and broccoli. The crab cakes were perfectly cooked, (she asked them not to cook hard...remember she's 90) and they made it just right, and the baked potato was spot on. My turkey and dressing was good, though the turkey was sliced a bit thick for me but my husband loved it, the dressing was flavorful and not too salty which is a huge plus for me. The homemade Heath Bar and vanilla ice cream were outstanding. It was rich and creaming and tasted soooo good!“

From the moment we walked in, the experience was excellent. The restaurant appears to be a converted small diner with a very clean, welcoming atmosphere, and you can see much of the food being prepared—which adds to the experience and gives you confidence in the care they put into everything.

They started us with a complimentary appetizer soup that was simple but incredibly good—a light, flavorful clear broth with noodles and chicken that set the tone for the meal.

For my entrée, I had the green chicken curry, and it was excellent. Great flavor, fresh ingredients, and balanced spice without overpowering the dish. You could tell it was made with care and not rushed.

To finish, I had the mango sticky rice for dessert, and it was fantastic—the perfect ending to the meal. Fresh mango, great texture, and just the right amount of sweetness.

But what really stood out was the service. Everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming, and the whole place felt genuinely family run in the best way possible.

Excellent food, excellent people, excellent experience. I’ll definitely be back.

“My son graduated and wanted to celebrate at J. Alexander's Restaurant. We arrived at 630 PM on a Wednesday. We had a party of seven guests. We were waiting for almost an hour to find out they had tables available. We had to split our party up which we did not mind doing. I wish they could of asked us that at the beginning, to prevent the long wait.

The food was delicious. Fast and hot. We enjoyed the buttery croissants, con queso dip, and steak egg rolls for appetizers. For the entree we ordered the daily specials. Food was very flavorful and beautifully aesethic. 10 out of 10 totally recommend.“
