“We had dinner I had the pulled pork sandwich, my nice had the brisket sandwich. Our sides where Cole slaw, potato salad and green beans. Everything was amazing good. The employees where friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place if you are in the Dayton area.“

“I have been to this KPOT location several times. Every time I have had a wonderful time and enjoyed the food. Tonight we had an absolutely amazing server. AJ was very kind and provided exceptional service, which was so very appreciated after our 8 hour drive back home from visiting family. Honestly I don't know how KPOT keeps managing to go above and beyond our expectations each time we visit, but we are consistently leaving very pleased. “We were in Dayton buying a motorcycle from a guy, and wanted somewhere to lunch after. Never been to Dayton before so I pulled up Maps and found this place. When I say delicious, I mean DELICIOUS!! My friend likened it to a transcendental experience. It is by far the BEST BBQ we have ever had, and Big Ed himself was so nice to chat with and listen to! 10/10 would recommend, I just wish I lived closer so I could eat there again!“

“Had the Brisket Platter with fries, green beans, and corn bread. My daughter also had the brisket with fries, Mac N Cheese, and Texas toast.
The brisket is a large portion! Three slabs and thick! The bark was dark and peppery, loved it. I like lean, some fat is ok, but one slab was very fatty, and if that's your thing then no problem, its just not mine. The house BBQ Sauce is excellent! Sweet with a bit of a kick, but not overpowering. Balanced really well.
The green beans were spectacular! I was not expecting green beans to make such an impression. They weren't over salty, the bacon flavor was present, but not strong, and they were hot and tender, but some bite to them.
The Mac N Cheese was also another great pick. Reminded me alot of steak house Mac and cheese at another famous chain. A bit of a pepper steak seasoning vibe. I will say the only issue, it was a bit thin, if the sauce was thicker it would have been spectacular, although, i would order it again.
The corn bread had bits of real corn in it, and is more of what I would call a corn muffin. It is sweet and moist with a dense cake texture. Butter is optional, but in my opinion not needed.
You are probably noticing i didn't say much about the fries. Well they were OK, and probably my only real complaint. They were thick and soft, not much for flavor. Ketchup helped but not something I would order again.
Price wise this isn't the cheapest, but it is a case of you get what you pay for. If you in Dayton, near UD campus, stop in and get a bite.“

“BG, in catering, was very pleasant to talk with, knowledgeable of her menu and helpful when ordering. I ordered the hamburger/potato buffets for my wife's cookout birthday party. BG had all the "fixings" for my guest to a augment their burger and potato. The food was hot when I picked it up; my guests really liked the food.
