“I had been wanting to try Flavors for years and finally got the chance to do so last night. We had 2 different soups and 2 different wraps. Everything was delicious and we are excited to go back to try even more. The girl who greeted us gave us a run down of the menu, told us their specialities, and offered soup samples. “Ok so we’ve dined at Old Scratch Troy location about 6 times since it’s opened. Waited a bit to give them time to really get in their groove. While I do recommend the place. Pizza is good, staff is nice (especially Amanda at the bar) and shareables are tasty. That said I would like to see the food’s taste be a little more consistent. My favorite dish is the fire roasted cauliflower but sadly it hasn’t been prepared the same way twice with the last two times it was barely seasoned at all once it was almost raw. Hopefully as training continues they will fix that issue.“

“Originally from Buffalo NY, found it very difficult to find a pizza that even comes close to what I was used to. I've tried many pizzas across the Miami Valley and all I can say is that most were pretty bad, and a few ok but not much more. 2 places were halfway decent but those places went downhill. I finally tried Joe's Pizza last month and have to say, the Absolute Best in Miami Valley. It was the closest to Buffalo Style Pizza I ever had in Southwest Ohio. Told their Staff the same. I will definitely be going back there despite being a little drive from where I live. I would recommend Joe's Pizza to everyone, especially if you're looking for a quality pizza!!“

“Sueño is now easily our favorite Mexican restaurant in Dayton. The atmosphere is vibrant, with great energy and stylish decor. The service is impeccable, complete with complimentary valet parking! Their cocktails are a highlight, especially 'The Guy,' and the food is out of this world. We tried the chips and salsa, (Salsa del Día), Tacos de Cochinita, and the smoked chicken enchiladas — all were absolutely delicious. The smoked chicken enchiladas were so good that we had to order a second serving. I could eat their chips and salsa every day; the salsa, possibly a fermented pineapple and jalapeño blend, is one of the best I’ve ever tasted. If you're looking for upscale Mexican cuisine, Sueño will not disappoint!“

“5 Stars is not enough. Hubby and I stopped in for our first visit and he grew up Italian ~ homemade everything. Sub was filled with meats, mozzarella sticks were perfect and the pizza was awesome. The dough is fabulous, so much taste. Husband felt like he was back home. Cannoli was so tasty. We will definitely be back. Great food, priced fairly and the owners service exceeded our expectations! “My friend lives off 3rd Street and said she had fabulous food here. When I pulled up I wasn't sure what I was walking into but have been there almost every week since my first time a few months ago. Great food, really good service and you get your food quick! And did I mention the prices! Wow so well priced. Great quesadillas, great burritos and out of this world salsa. Try them, you will not be sorry. In case you didn't realize, I highly recommend this amazing little family run restaurant.“

The beets are great too if you’re into that. Only thing on the menu I wouldn’t get again is the carbonara. I love this dish but it’s not easy to serve at a restaurant. Texture is off putting unless it’s made to order and served immediately. Overall very nice place. Also very busy for good reason.“

“Went there on 06 AUG 2024 for my birthday dinner and it was fantastic! Ordered the stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer but it turned out that the kitchen was out of the mushrooms and Chef (and Waitress) sent their regrets. So, we ordered the always good pretzels and bier cheese instead when lo and behold, stuffed mushrooms appeared on our table anyway! Did Chef run to the store??? AND we got the pretzels and bier cheese complimentary from the kitchen as an apology for seemingly being out of the 'shrooms! The whole thing was wonderful and adorable! Hubby had the Chicken Paprikash and I had the Hunter (Pork) Schnitzel and both were gr eat in our opinions! I did substitute the slightly sweet, very creamy cole slaw because I don't like sauerkraut. The potato pancake was also very good (although MAYBE a tiny bit too brown/well done on the outside for me? But then again, I am not Chef nor am I in charge, lol), I just wish there had been more of them! Dessert was a chocolate sundae w/a warm gooey chocolate chip cookie! Our waitress was sweet and wonderful and I wish I remembered her name but hopefully she'll remember us from the "shroom/pretzel incident," lol! 5 stars all-around, can't wait to go back!“

“I had a great overall experience at Sake Japanese House & Sushi Bar. I went for the hibachi, and it didn’t disappoint. The chef was entertaining and skilled, making the meal as fun as it was delicious. It’s always enjoyable when the cooking is part of the show, and they did a great job creating a lively, engaging atmosphere.

The food was flavorful and well-cooked — everything from the steak and shrimp to the fried rice and vegetables was fresh and satisfying. Portion sizes were generous, and everything was served hot and right off the grill.

The staff was friendly and attentive, and the service was smooth from start to finish. I’d definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a fun hibachi night out with good food and good vibes.
