As for the food, it offers a variety of Chinese and East Asian cuisine. Flavors were there, portion sizes were adequate, AND I didn't feel like I overpaid. “First time here. We were here with multiple families to celebrate Chinese New Year. They were definitely not prepared or expecting a crowd. Our party were seated in 2 separate tables. Services was slow and food came out slow. They didn't have certain items which was disappointing.“
“My first time eating at Royal Wok and it will not be my last. Excellent! General Tso's Chicken was dynamite!!! The steamed dumplings are tremendous and one dumpling is the size of two at any other restaurant. Crab rangoons are over stuffed and not all dough!! Absolutely fantastic!!! My husband got steamed shrimp and chicken and it was delicious!!! We will be regulars!“
“This is by far the best Chinese restaurant in our area. The food is excellent & always fresh. They have the best spring roll I have ever eaten. My husband and I visit often and prefer to sit at the bar where Patricia works. Everyone is nice, but she is our favorite!! I definitely recommend trying China Cottage (CENTERVILLE location).“

“ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! Was leary when my wife said Shen's was what she wanted to try for dinner.. staff was extremely polite and the food was better than any I have had. Was a little surprised on prices witch seemed high on the menu but when food arived portions were huge and ended up the prices were cheap for portion size! Especially with the high quality of ingredients! Highly recommend this place to anyone!!! A+++ keep it up Shen! We will definitely be back soon!“
“Large menu of dozens of items of Vietnamese and Chinese dishes. Served fresh and hot. Takes a little while to get the main dishes, but worth the wait. One big room for takeout and dine in, so can feel crowded at certain times, but not for long. Not too noisy. Adequate parking in front in its strip mall. Prices are moderate and the check shows a surcharge if you pay by credit card, so we pay by cash. At the time we visited in mid-February, the menu on its website was up to date.“

“Got take out on Christmas Eve. Noticed that no one was dining in. But, there was a brisk take out business.I had to wait a couple minutes for my order to be ready as I was a bit early. That was fine because it would be fresh.We ordered Kung Pao chicken and a couple Beef and Broccoli with white and fried rice. There were also a couple egg rolls and some crab Rangoon. “I ordered pickup through DoorDash and was already out and about so just went straight there which would put me close-ish to pickup time, but on the early side.My order wasn't ready when I got there because they didn't receive it from the DoorDash system until I was standing there in the store.They were so unnecessarily apologetic and kind! They said they were sorry they didn't receive it and would be ready asap. They were SO fast getting me my chicken lo mein and General Tso tofu. They also threw in some veggie fried rice & even came out to my car to tell me it was ready!10 out of 10 service and just thankful for their generosity. “I ordered their orange chicken dinner combo with hot n sour soup and beef lo mean. It was absolutely amazing. I moved to Dayton about a year and a half ago and I feel like a lot of other fast casual Chinese food places just didn't have that much depth in the flavor, or it just lacked something that I missed from my hometown. I'm probably picky as I'm originally from a big city with a lot of options, but hands down this place has my heart for Chinese food here in Dayton. I can't wait to try more dishes! The only complaint I have is that the hot n sour soup was bland, but I usually like mine with a lot of flavor and punch. This place is so good along with the bright moon buffet. My two fav Chinese places!!“
